A question I've been seeing raised a lot this past week due to Cristiano reaching the mammoth 700 goal tally is which Ronaldo was better. From first observation the results seem split. So im asking it here, which Ronaldo would you consider the better player. If you had a choice to have only 1 playing for your team, who would you pick?

I'd even vote for Pol Pot over CR. Probably less ego driven as well.

Clearly Portuguese Ronaldo had a better career than Brazilian Ronaldo, but that is in no small part due to all the injuries that the latter had to contend with. Given the choice between peak-form CR7 and peak-form R9, I think I would pick the one who was part of two World Cup-winning squads.
