Hidden little secrets that we keep to ourselves. What do you know about your team that others do not?
NY Giants - Bill Parcells wasn't this legendary coach he is made out to be. In fact, he wasn't that good at all (our players were, not him)
NY Rangers - oh, we hated them, but we did know those four Cup winning Islander teams were incredible
NY Yankees - the Yankee announcers - John Sterling and Susan Waldman - are the worst in the entire world
NY Knicks - the f***ing Garden is overpriced. 120 bucks for a seat in the last row just to see a 17-65 team
NY Mets - the legend Tom Seaver was not our best pitcher. Koosman, Nolan Ryan, Doc Gooden, Johan Santana, Matt Harvey, Tom Glavine, Fat Sid, deGrom were all better

Forest Green Rovers are the only team ever to have played in both the FA Trophy, and FA Vase finals.

The 1994 NY Giants went 9-7 in a season composed of 2 winning streaks and 1 losing streak.
Started 3-0. Lost 7 straight to fall to 3-7. Won their last 6.

The Forest Green Rovers pitch:
Has under pitch water capture, so keeps itself watered.
It is 100% organic.
The grass is kept in trim by a fully automated, solar powered robo-mower... It comes out, cuts the grass when needed, then returns to it's docking station, all of it's own accord.
Our pitch stays in super condition over the dark winter, because it gets extra artificial sunlight, from growing lights that the club scrounges from Gloucestershire Police, after they are confiscated from drug factories.

Green Bay Packers: BrINT Fail was a leader with interceptions but also with fumbles to.
The Packers have won the most NFL championships at 13.
NY Jets: Joe Namath: Sure, they may call him legendary but his stats do not reflect that. Only reason why he is famous is because he was a bachelor out on the town who predicted they would win the Super Bowl.

Only reason why he is famous is because he was a bachelor out on the town who predicted they would win the Super Bowl. You got the Namath/Jet fans thing backwards. It is knowledgeable non-Jet fans who know the dirty little secret that Namath wasn't that great of a QB. Dopey Jet fans actually believe he was one of the all time great QBs.

I know lots of Yankee fans and not a damned one like her or Sterling.

After the St Louis Gunners folded, their NFL franchise ( right to operate ) was given to Cleveland.
Thus what is now the Rams franchise actually moved from STL to CLE to LA to STL to LA.

Busch Stadium ( I, II, & III ) were all named after a person, because the NL would not allow the name "Budweiser Stadium"
Busch beer was then created after the fact.

The NHL blocked the move of the St Louis Blues to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on 5-18-83, and then revoked their franchise rights on 6-13-83, rather than letting ownership fold the team on 6-14-83.
A new local owner was found on 7-27-83.

In 1987, NBA Commissioner David Stern told St Louis that he would "give" them an NBA franchise, if and when they built a new domed stadium for the Football Cardinals.

Joe Buck's call on the Phils 2008 WS Win was better than legendary Phillies broadcaster Harry Kalas
People just love to hate on Bucky because it's the cool thing to do.

Mike Quick ruined Merrill Reese's call on the Super Bowl Win by babbling over him when he should have kept his yapper shut and let the fans soak the moment in.
