Which movie do you think was better: Batman Begins or Days of Future Past? Neither. they have the same quality. its like asking which is better Godfather or Goodfellas.
I left both movies with more information of how prejudice can destroy humanity if the issues are not tackled in DOFP. I left batman begins thinking about how crime can ruin society if it is not dealt with. these were the main focus of the stories in both films.
Speaking of both films, why can't thor just deal with his trauma like Bruce does in batman begins our Xavier in dofp? why does thor have to be a kiddie clown. makes no sense.
MCU is just nothing. they are fun pop corn flicks, most times very immature and they do look like theme parks.
You mean they have the same quality in your opinion, I think Batman Begins is better than Days of Future Past, and if you honestly think they are anywhere on the level of The Godfather or Goodfellas you are seriously deluded, they are not even on their level as comic book/superhero movies. If you came out thinking that after leaving both movies and not before then you clearly have not seen many movies or are aware of what is going on in reality and world history, I can honestly name hundreds of films which touch base on exactly what you speak of for DOFP and Batman Begins that do it ten times better and are much better crafted and far more realistic, some of which are based on REAL events and people. Because Thor isn't supposed to be like Bruce Wayne or Charles Xavier, genius. He dealt with his trauma by becoming more of a drunk, overweight, and shutting everyone in his life off after realizing how much he had failed his people and friends and family. Again, do you know anything about PTSD? Not even deals with their pain by being brooding, some people take to bad habits and stop caring about themselves to try and suppress their negative emotions. So you admit that MCU movies are fun then? So why all this negativity on here? Most who would say such a thing would write a comment or two and take their business elsewhere, but here you are.

Is dofp better than batman begins? or is batman begins better? that's hard to say because they share the same quality, the share the same tone, they share the style. both movies benefits from been stand alone films not in the MCU or DCU. what we have is now people choosing their favourite, and these are general comic fans for people who love both the true marvel and DC. so woody Allen is correct. however MCU fans have a damaged psyche. they have more hatred in their hearts for marvel movies not in the MCU than dc movies. they hate them more than they hate DC movies. a mature movie like DOFP is more disgraceful to mcu movies than batman begins, so MCU fans are prone to hate DOFP more because DOFP is still after all a marvel movie. which means it hurts mcu more than batman begins.so mcu fans hate dofp more for that.
thor should not have been a comedy relief that is the bottom line. he is clown because MCU movies are kiddie.

Neither Batman Begins or Days of Future Past can be considered The Godfathers or Goodfellas of their genre, they're good but not the highest achievements in genre cinema in general and superhero cinema in particular. You mean they only share the same quality in your eyes, others feel differently such as myself who prefers Batman Begins of the two. Same tone? Same style? How so? I have seen both multiple times and the thought of them sharing anything similar on a stylistic or storytelling level has ever crossed my mind, it never occurred to me to do a double feature with the two. You keep making this claim that any and all MCU fans are vile, ugly souls who hate anything not connected to the universe yet you provide zero examples to this. It would help your argument if you did at least come up with ten examples(as this is the internet and discussion is everywhere) of more than a handful of such people displaying said behavior. You act as if Thor had always been a totally serious character before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, for one who claims to be a fan of 'true Marvel' you seem to have forgotten of the many humorous moments Thor has had over his long publication history. Even the Thor of myth had their share of stories which were fairly humorous, such as the tale when he and Loki dressed as females to retrieve his hammer. Yes, it happened. So...You admit to enjoying Batman & Robin?

He might not completely wrong cuz the four of so marvel films were alright but, since then they went ahead and made every film bigger and bigger than the last one.
But then for example, if you've seen all the star wars films for example. You know that bigger doesn't always mean better.
Or basically any long run franchize.
