Saw a thread either on reddit or twitter petitioning for Mike McCarthy as the next Falcons coached and honestly laughed. I think I've seen people petition him for every possible opening as if he is this amazing coach.

Matty Ice knocked out with a knee injury, and the Falcons are getting drilled, 30-3, what a dismal season for the Falcons, they are a total disaster all around.
Rodgers with another long TD pass and the Packers lead the Raiders 42-17.
Cardinals up 24-21 on the Giants and are in the red zone looking to clinch it.
Vikings up 35-24 on the Lions.

49ers 6 - 0 by now, but only 9-0 vs. the Redskins is not impressive. They had no real test so far imho.

Colts up 30-23 on the Texans, Texans get the ball back with under 2 minutes left.

They just said over 900 yards combined offense for Vikes/Lions. Both teams came to play and were pretty evenly matched. Lions are good.

Vikings have finally hit their stride and have found a nice balance between their rushing and passing attacks, they are red hot right now. The NFC North looks great, all 4 teams are very strong, Lions now have a losing record but they could easily have a winning record and are a good team.

After the Niners game ended, us lucky folks here on the West Coast were given bonus coverage of the last few minutes of the Giants/Arizona game.
I cannot accurately describe how stupid the Giants were in those few minutes. Down a field goal, with two timeouts and the 2-minute warning, they're facing 3rd and long. They run a draw play which does nothing but waste time, then instead of punting, they go for it on 4th and long. Jones then gets sacked and fumbles the ball away to Arizona, who eventually gets a field goal as the Giants have to use time outs to try to slow clock.
Okay, Giants get ball back on kickoff and the returner decides to run ball out of endzone. Of course, he runs backwards at some point, wastes more time, and gets tackled at around the 13 yard line. Of course, a couple of sacks later and game is over.
