p.s. but that aside for a moment, just looking from around the year 2013 to date... many movies have taken a solid hit for me as even just to narrow things to a smaller region of movies... take my 10/10's for example, there probably used to be AT LEAST 3-4 times the volume that I currently have there as currently only six movies still remain a 10/10 for me even though I am pretty sure there was over 20 movies in the past etc. then I am sure the volume of my 9/10's as also taken a hit etc. hell, even in terms of volume of movies I score a 7/10 or higher, which is what I consider 'my favorite movies', that's taken a decent hit vs not all that long ago as there is currently a 148 movies I score a 7/10 or higher and, without checking, I would imagine that figure was up around 200-250 not all that long ago. so while it sucks when movies drop off, on a more positive note, it just makes me appreciate the ones that do remain a 7/10 or higher that much more

but on a more positive note... once in a while a movie grows stronger for me as the years pass on some re-watches.
ck100 I know that was directed at the OP. but I think it should be obvious...
as long as one at least likes a movie up to a certain point to where it's worth re-watching, one will continue to re-watch it here and there as the years pass.
because that's how I ultimately judges movies in a very basic sense on whether I want to re-watch them or not...
-6/10 or higher = Thumbs Up (will re-watch)
-5/10 or less = Thumbs Down (won't re-watch(with rare exception to this rule))
so given that info... you can see that even if a movie takes a hit on a re-watch, it can still be worth re-watching here and there as the years pass as it's only once ones interest in a movie falls below a certain point is when the movie is no longer worth re-watching.
