Another conference that can't count.
1. Michigan State 2. Ohio State 3. Maryland 4. Michigan
5. Purdue 6. Illinois 7. Wisconsin 8. Indiana 9. Iowa 10. Minnesota 11. Penn State 12. Rutgers 13. Northwestern 14. Nebraska
Last team playing - Sparty Player of the Year - Cassius Winston - Michigan State Freshman of the Year - DJ Carton - Ohio State
The Big 10 had a great season last year. Not so much this year. The conference hemorrhaged talent. I don't think much of this past the top three. Spartans could run the table if Romeo Langford stays healthy. OSU brought in the best recruiting class, Maryland has talent but lost Bruno Fernandes. Purdue lost Carsen Edwards but lose good players every year and recover. Illinois could be back to what it was in the Bruce Pearl days. Wisconsin, Indiana and Iowa all lost talent, but you've heard that before. Rest of the conference are cupcakes. Two interesting storylines. How will Michigan do without John Beilein and with newbie and Fab Five Juwan Howard running the railroad? Will Indiana ever get back to where it once belonged? Decent recruits but they had better last year and shit the bed.

Why don't they just stop calling themselves the Big Ten and rebrand already? And don't tell me 'tradition.' Renaming the conference would be no more egregious than inviting fucking Rutgers to the party.

Noticed there was no Michigan or Wisconsin in the Top 25 and figured it may be a down year for the Big 10 but saw Maryland ranked pretty high which was nice to see.
Think the Buckeyes were like #18 or so - when's the last time they had a run of winning the Big 10? Evan Turner years circa 2010?

Didn't do much in the Tournament.
Wisconsin has to learn to play without Ethan Happ. Michigan lost their top three scorers. They lost a lot from the runner up team but Beilein was still there. I'm not sure how Juwan will do with that many holes to fill. They still have Jon Teske and Zavier Simpson.
Tough conference to pick.

I think I'd like to nominate Goodman as the top poster of this board. All in favor?

i'm going with purdue to win it. Barring injuries, Michigan State will win this easily. They don't have a true center but they have too many other weapons. And they have Izzo.
