It rather depends. I think Home Alone is the best example of a Christmas movie that can be watched at any time, even outside of the holiday.

Yeah, from Thanksgiving til New Years, I love watching Christmas films. Not the rest of the year.
That's what makes that time of the year so special.
Almost as much fun as watching scary movies this time each year.

Yeah, & yet watching them away from the season can be rather eye opening. One year I watched my top 50 from 50 to 1 from Jan to Dec, running into the likes of A Christmas Carol & It's a Wonderful Life in warmer months. That actually enabled a more objective experience, & yeah they're still brilliant.

Christmas-themed movies are best watched from Dec 1st through Dec 25th as that feels most optimal. although I might go a little outside of that range once in a while like say Nov-Jan.
