Sorry, now now. I'm usually reading baseball in March to May. Right now I'm on a Civil War kick. If I see anything, I'll let ou know
any topic is cool! Anything CW by Bruce Catton. Any library should have his stuff and the man could write. His stuff flows like good fiction. He wrote a three volume history of the war, The Coming Fury, Terrible Swift Sword and Never Call Retreat. And a three volume history of the Army of the Potomac. Mr. Lincolnβs Army, Glory Road and A Stillness at Appomattox

Hey nuts, sorry for the late reply. Anyway I took a glance at my shelves and honestly most of my sports books are very Boston-centric, so I don't know how interested you'd be. (Orr, War Room, The Blueprint, Mind Game, The Last Banner, Red & Me, just to name a few.) All great reads if you're so inclined, but I won't take it personally if those titles don't appeal to you. It's not necessarily a fall themed book, and I may have mentioned it on the board in the past, but My Life and Battles is a quick but fun memoir (actually a collection of articles collected into book form) by heavyweight Jack Johnson.

In the same vein as one of my previous recs: This is one of my favorites: Also, pretty much any book on TR is a great read. The Bully Pulpit; Theodore Rex; River of Doubt; Rough Riders (2016); the list goes on and on. Of course I'm biased, because he's my favorite president. But he still resonates enough in our culture to a degree that anyone can find his story compelling. Plus, he's TR. It's not like I'm telling you to read about Franklin Pierce or something.
