I would love an R rated MCU film.
That's my first reaction. Logistically it's less likely to happen, but I love anything rated R. There's something to be said for risk too. An r rated MCU film is probably out of the question by now, but never say never. The X-Men films tacked on an R rated film to an otherwise all ages franchise. It even did well enough I consider it successful both for the risk it took and the pay-off. All risks are created equal; the result is a different story.
The Netflix shows are rated TV MA, which I looked up and its closest equivalents are R or NC-17. So sure. Bring it.

The people saying Blade and other characters can work without r ratings. It's possible for it to work without an R rating. It might have to rely more on story and characters though. Nixing some of the blood/gore and cursing. (And the MPAA has always been more hung up on Sex/Nudity, then cursing, and finally violence and gore. Which always spoke volumes about their Puritanical Mindset to me. Sex and Boobies are BAD!!!!) Adding those to a story has always been used as a cheap way by lesser stories to evoke emotion and add to the "cool" factor. A way to turbo charge the story and characters past any blemishes. If nudity/cursing/violence is used in service of the story then all is good. If it's used to prop the the story up it is a cynical party trick used by movie makers. So yeah it could work without an R rating, but it puts more pressure on the Writers, Directors, and Actors to make it work. You are not nixing some you are nixing it all if you are having to do that clearly it won't work

And language isn't that hard just nix the F-Bombs. The real factor we are dealing with here is the violence and gore. And you wouldn't have to cut all of it. Look at Drag Me to Hell by Sam Raimi. Pretty fucking violent and decently gory and it's PG-13. Sam is good at mixing a little bit of camp and humor with his Violence and Gore. Here he balances it so well that I think the MPAA allowed them a little more violence and gore than most PG-13 movies.

Its not just nudity everybody says thats what gets an r rated Joker didn't show boobs. Some of those deaths are violent you think mcu movies will show somebody getting brutally stabbed or being shot in the head in a brutal way? Take away nudity and you still got that to deal with even on their Netflix shows Kingpin killing his father aa a kid and killing that Russian with a car and Billy Russo getting his face destroyed are much more violent than anything mcu movies.

The death of the russian by door could be in a PG13 movie the stabbing too. Mainly with the russian's decapitation it focuses on Kingpins face the violence is mostly off screen and implied. The only thing that wouldn't be allowed in a PG13 movie is Jigsaw's face cutting as shown. I'm for ultra violence as the next person, but I don't think Blade needs it, maybe Punisher needs a bit more. Still, I would rather have a strong story and characters supported by lessor violence in the overall universe if it needs to be to work. When I think of the Netflix shows, it's not the violence, swearing, or sex that I like about them. It's the characterization. The Stories are good to if not a little slow. (they could be cut down to 8 episodes each). Honestly with the netflix shows if you took out Karen's brief boob when she's changing shirts and a little bit of the sex in Jessica Jones they could pass as TV-14 not TV-MA for the most part. In the end I would be happy with rated R Punisher or Blade, but I do think a PG13 one COULD work if need be.

I doubt even those Scenes would make it in a PG13 Movie,I'm sure that Russian's Death would be quick and only impled,Even Robert Redford in Winter Soldier Kills that woman quickly and doesn't look violent at all and that Stabbing from Joker No way,Hawkeye using a Sword in Endgame didn't really do anything super violent. Joker proves you can have a strong strong story with an R Rating and it can be successful. I doubt you could make the netflix shows tv14,Cottonmouth on Luke Cage beats a Teen to death very visously and on the 2nd season Mariah commits Genocide sets a man on fire and shoots him. If shift gears from the MCU like the Boys, which still got an MA Rating despite altering some stuff from the books

If Blade is getting his own movie, it would definitely work best with an R-rating, but that’s probably not going to happen. Frankly, Blade as a whole seems like he would’ve fit in better with the Netflix characters, but we’re obviously done with those and having Mahershala Ali in the MCU proper was probably too appealing an idea for Kevin Feige to pass up.

Ali i m not sold on the role hes starting very late in the Game,Hes older than Snipes was in Trinity in fact Ali is the same age right now as the last Actor Sticky Fingaz is right now. I d say they should have cast somebody 10-15 years younger

There's lot of Rated-R Material in Marvel Comics. You have Charcters like Blade, Daredevil, Deadpool, Deathlok, Moon Knight, Punisher, Venom, Wolverine. Or Antihero Teams like Savage Avengers, Midnight Sons, Strikeforce, X-Force, Thunderbolts. Shouldn't not be a problem, to make movies of these.
