Do any of you have anything planned for Halloween? What are your Halloween plans? this year sadly none (i am working evry day and evening of the next 12 days) which makes me sad because halloween is my absolute favorite holiday. normally i would go to the nyc halloween parade or a quiet event party but this year i will just watch from far way while being exhausted. was planning to go as an undead german beer maid even got the costume but dont think i can really make it. how about you?

No big plans.

1. Draw the drapes.
2. Turn out most of the lights.
3. Disable the doorbell.
4. Read Winnie-the-Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner.

My plans are to hand out treats to the rugrats and anklebiters. Where we live, we're lucky if we get any more than a couple of dozen.
I'll be wearing my Barney Rubble costume.
A few years back, I went out shopping for a Fred Flintstone costume. The one Hallowe'en place I went, I laid my eyes on the Barney Rubble costume. Barney is more suited to my persona, so I bought it.
The cashier and I both agreed - SOMEONE has to be Barney.

I'm going to an 80s Halloween dance club tonight. Not quite sure about Halloween itself, probably hit up the Vegas strip and downtown.
I'd love to go to some haunted houses, but my girlfriend is too scared. Fucking Chinese people and ghosts.

For me like every year it will be a " Halloween Movie Marathon "
in the comfort of my home with snacks .
I'm still deciding which movie saga type of theme
to go with this time around .
There's a lot in my DVD Collections to choose from
either - haunted house movies , Vincent Price films ,
John Carpenter's Original Halloween films 1 thru 8 ,
classic Anthology horror films ( & TV Shows ) ,
and Alfred Hitchcock films etc.
now all I have to do is pick which ones .
Thanks so much ck100 for this fun subject post here too .

I ordered some horror movies on dvd. But what I really hope to do is finally lay down my thoughts on vintage slashers (1978 - 1992) here, and openly consider why I think 'Scream' (1996), which is a film and enusing franchise I dearly love, resulted from some kind of general malaise that threatened outright subgenre rejection.
Also, hoping to just soak up the season and watch some damn good horror movies, made past and present. I do have Rob Zombie's new picture to savour.

I had to take 2 days off work to carry out my plans, from my secured annual holiday.

I had to take 2 days off work to carry out my plans, from my secured annual holiday. The only holiday I'll use vacation time on is Thanksgiving. Food and family is greater then just about anything.

I'm in a similar situation. Except I needed bats, spiders and cobwebs to preserve my sanity going forward.

I'll probably just sit on the front porch with my shotgun and dog like I do every year.

Got a French class tomorrow evening. Then I might watch a movie that night.
Oh, and of course feasting on the blood of the innocent, as per Halloween tradition!
