How many of you believe alcohol is solely responsible for violence against women? I have been drinking for at least 7-8 years of my life and never laid a finger on any woman. Not out of fear of consequences but I never felt to do so. Do you think these guys hit their wives because they are drunk or they really believe women are second class citizens and are inferior to men? Is it something cultural? I think so. We have been mistreating women for thousands of years. It has become a part of our culture. Some of us even take pride in it. I think alcohol is blamed unnecessarily (because it is the easiest thing to do) without fixing the real issue on our society, our attitude towards women.

Discuss! top post. though these guys do drink alcohol on a level some of us could only dream of. i'm talking about guys who stand in queues first thing in the morning to buy alcohol before reporting for work. they cannot handle reality and get pissed off very easily. |

never had the slightest inclination to abuse women after getting drunk. if anything i am too focused on abusing alcohol at that point.
