I didn't care much for it on first viewing circa early 2013. Watched it on Netflix a couple of years later and really dug it. Shame there likely won't be a sequel. I would totally try slo-mo, granted I don't have to drive or operate heavy machinery for a while.

I enjoyed it. Karl Urban was good and Olivia Thirlby was better than expected. Not too impressed by Lena Headey's villain. She looks cool but is kind of one-note after a while.

"Well, at least Rob Schneider isn't in this one."

I really liked the style and setting of it. It wasn't as violent as I had anticipated, but it still put on a good show. It is one that keeps on coming back to me. The main villain was mean mother<>ker broad.

Liking it is required? First time I watched it I actually wasn't impressed, just seemed like mindless action filmed "stylishly". Saw it a second time and liked it more but I just can't praise it like many do. Its fun enough. I actually found myself praising Lena Headey more than Dredd half the time.

I loved it immediately. I didn't see it in the theater and it was only because a dvd review gave it such high marks that I watched it.
I had heard of, but still have not seen, Stallone's Judge Dredd. It looks downright awful.
Urban offers a nearly flawless performance, all the more impressive considering we never see his full face.
Rest of the cast are great, too.
One of my favorite films of the 2010s.

Olivia Thirlby was the one with the character arc and she played it wonderfully. I hoped - and believed - that she would be destined for greater things, but, disappointingly, it hasn't happened yet.
