An unusually good week for most of our picks. In fact, 5 people went an incredible 14-1. As I was tallying up the results, I was actually annoyed at those posters for making one wrong pick and ruining perfection. Still, like I said it was a very good week for a lot of us. Only a select few finished below 11 wins. You can guess which group I belonged to.

San Francisco @ Arizona - No reason to doubt that the 49ERS will continue to roll unless TNF weirdness strikes and/or they totally underestimate the Cards. I don't like Murray's chances against that monstrous SF defensive line.
Houston vs Jacksonville (London, UK) - Almost a home game at this point for the Jags who are well used to London games. On paper the Texans are better but I have a feeling about the JAGUARS. Minshew Mania comes to England.
Indianapolis @ Pittsburgh - As that MNF game reiterated, Tomlin's Steelers are well known at this point for playing down to their opponents. Do they consider the Colts at home a gimme game? Probably not, so they should play hard. I'll still pick the COLTS because why not?
Chicago @ Philadelphia - Anytime I trash the Eagles' chances (which happens a lot) they usually end up winning and I look like an idiot. So let's just pick the EAGLES here and see what happens.
NY Jets @ Miami - If Darnold has another mediocre/awful game in the QB paradise that is Hard Rock Stadium in 2019, the Jets have a real problem. He won't. There are no ghosts here. JETS take it.
Minnesota @ Kansas City - Seems like a game that the Vikings should probably win, in theory. Is Kirk Cousins known for performing when expectations are high? Not really. I'll give this one to the CHIEFS.
Tennessee @ Carolina - The Titans are the definitive 8-8/9-7 team that doesn't win 3 weeks in a row. I'm shocked they won last week. They are definitely due for a loss here. PANTHERS get back on track.
Washington @ Buffalo - The BILLS have too good of a defense to lose to the Redskins.
Tampa Bay @ Seattle - This could be a shootout. I'm not sure Seattle have a DB capable of stopping Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. Unfortunately for the Bucs, nor do they have a DB capable of stopping the constant aerial threat Wilson poses, especially if they sell out to stop Carson and the run game. SEAHAWKS win.
Detroit @ Oakland - Hey, the RAIDERS are back in Oakland for the first time in like, ever! They celebrate with a nice win.
Green Bay @ LA Chargers - This is going to be a depressing watch for Chargers fans with a sea of green and yellow in the stands. What's more, these clearly aren't the Chargers of last season. No reason why the PACKERS shouldn't win.
Cleveland @ Denver - Tricky game to pick. The Browns are feeling pretty down right now, with such a disappointing start. Denver's defense is starting to click under Fangio and they normally play tough at home. However, if Flacco's out, what are the Broncos going to do at QB? By Fangio's own admission, Drew Lock isn't ready to start. When Myles Garrett is coming to town, you better have a plan. I say the BROWNS will tough it out in a run-heavy game.
New England @ Baltimore - Finally a genuinely tough opponent for New England in the Ravens, under a head coach who's taken a few significant Pats scalps in his time. However, I get the feeling that it won't be a game like this that ends the Pats' unbeaten streak (that'll end up being a supposed gimme game later on down the stretch, probably in the AFC East). Look at what the Chargers did to Lamar Jackson in the playoffs last year. Think Belichick is aware of that? I surely do. PATRIOTS win.
Dallas @ NY Giants - On paper the Cowboys should win, but I'm going to opt for NFC East madness to strike and the GIANTS take it. Marco gets to make an NFL thread for the first time in what, over a month?

I found last week to be really easily, hence the records. This week is really tough. There are so many matchups that are coin flips.

San Francisco @ Arizona: 49ers Houston vs Jacksonville: Jaguars Idianapolis @ Pittsburgh: Colts Chicago @ Philadelphia: Eagles NY Jets @ Miami: Jets Minnesota @ Kansas City: KC Tennessee @ Carolina: Carolina Washington @ Buffalo: Buffalo Tampa Bay @ Seattle: Seattle Detroit @ Oakland: Oakland Green Bay @ LA Chargers: Green Bay Cleveland @ Denver: Denver New England @ Baltimore: New England Dallas @ NY Giants: Giants
SanFran takes Arizona but the score might be closer than a Sunday game. Jaguars edge the Texans. Colts going over Pittsburgh who just looked good last night because they played a terrible Dolphins team. I could totally see the Jets giving Miami their first win but I will stick by Gang Green. KC played GB awfully close even without Maholmes. I think they edge out Minnesota this time. No way they drop two at home straight!
Carolina over Tennessee in a battle of mediocrity. Buffalo defense gets back on track and plows through Washington. Seattle KO's Tampa. Oakland wins a close one against Detroit. Chargers suck, GB rolls over them. No Flacco but I think Denver edges out Cleveland because it's Mile High and the Browns will Brown it up.
Patriots do their usual plug and play by the book stuff and beat Baltimore. Talking heads need to fill air time by saying New England is in trouble because the offense is lethargic even though they are undefeated. Giants dish Dallas another embarrassing loss in the Meadowlands.

My only loss was picking Carolina over the Niners.
Picking against an undefeated team kept me from going undefeated for the week!

Here are my picks for Week 9’s games
49ers over Cardinals - Niners have a much stronger defense and will win.
Jaguars over Texans - I think Minshew has a big game against a shaky Texans defense and the Jags win a close one.
Colts over Steelers - Colts are much more talented all around.
Eagles over Bears - Eagles offense is much better and the Bears offense won’t be able to exploit the Eagles weaknesses on defense, Eagles win.
Jets over Dolphins - Terrible matchup, but the Jets win because they are slightly more talented and at least seem to be trying to win.
Vikings over Chiefs - Vikings are playing really well right now and their offense have a big day against the Chiefs banged up defense.
Panthers over Titans - Panthers get a big game from McCaffrey and get a bounce back win against the always unpredictable Titans.
Bills over Redskins - Bills are far better on offense and defense.
Seahawks over Buccaneers - Seahawks are at home and are a more complete team, they win.
Lions over Raiders - Very hard pick, but I’ll take the Lions as I think they have slightly more talent.
Packers over Chargers - Packers are playing much better and have more talent, they win.
Browns over Broncos - Browns offense will have a big game and the Broncos lousy offense won’t be able to keep up.
Patriots over Ravens - Pats defense will shut down Jackson and the Pats win.
Cowboys over Giants - Cowboys offense will have a big game against the Giants lousy defense.

Thursday October 31st 8:20pm EST San Francisco @ Arizona - Should be an easy win for the 49ers.
Sunday November 3rd 9:30am Houston vs Jacksonville (London, UK) - London is basically the Jags home away from home but I'm betting on Watson and the Texans winning this one.
1:00pm Indianapolis @ Pittsburgh - Colts didn't look too great against Denver but should have an easier time against Pitt.
Chicago @ Philadelphia - This is a toss up. I don't have much faith in the Eagles right now but I have even less faith in Nagy and the Biscuit.
NY Jets @ Miami - Miami continues to tank. I don wonder, is Tua honestly tank level worthy though?
Minnesota @ Kansas City - If Mahomes plays then I'm going to switch this pick.
Tennessee @ Carolina - I hate this game so much. I never know what the fuck to expect out of either of these teams but I'll bet on CMC here.
Washington @ Buffalo - Washington sucks.
4:05pm Tampa Bay @ Seattle - Tough place to play and it's Winston so the possibility of 5 INTs is on the table.
Detroit @ Oakland - Think the Raiders edge this one out.
4:25pm Green Bay @ LA Chargers - Rivers and Eckler make me nervous but this will basically be a home game for GB and the Chargers find ways to lose.
Cleveland @ Denver - No idea who will be QB for the Broncos but I've got to believe that the Browns with all that talent beat whoever it is.
8:20pm New England @ Baltimore - I refuse to believe that the Pats go undefeated so I'm going with Baltimore.
Monday November 4th 8:15pm Dallas @ NY Giants - If memory serves me correctly Dallas has a tendency to blow games against the Giants that they normally should win.
