I think the Bengals are officially entering the tank session with Miami. I think they play each other later this season so it'll be interesting to see which team wants to lose more.

I guess they want to "see what they have" with Finley while also, yeah, tanking. Dalton surely isn't the problem. He's definitely the kind of QB that performs according to the talent surrounding him, and he has very little at Cincinnati. I still don't see what qualifies Zac Taylor for a HC position outside of working with McVay for a while. Plus, they're down there with Miami and Atlanta for worst defense in the league.

They’re making the right call, Dalton sucks, he’s never been that good of a QB, he’s far from the only problem with the Bengals but he sucks, they should see what Finley can do, if he plays well maybe he could become a good QB, if he doesn’t play well, well the Bengals aren’t going anywhere this season and they will get a high draft pick where they can draft their new franchise QB.

Again, I say, the first 10-12 games of 2015, he played damn good (aside from the mini-debacle against Houston on Monday Night Football). He was never going to be better than the likes of Brady, Rodgers, Big Ben, Brees, or Ryan. He was (is?) too much of a Jekyll and Hyde. I fear it will become clear with Ryan Finley, the long existing issues will be more than just the quarterback position.

The Bengals rarely get mentioned as among the worst front offices/ownership situations in the league, perhaps because they share a state with the Browns who've hogged all the attention in that area for decades. But they should.
