Yeah, a movie series where a diverse group of rebels fight against an oppressive regime made up almost entirely of one species that has an explicit bias against other species (complete with enslavement of several of those species), totally would not set off the "anti-SJW" crowd it came out today. /sarcasm You don't know anything and you will never be a Star Wars fan. I know. I actually like Star Wars. Definitely not a fan by today's standards. To be a fan I would have to cry about my ruined childhood, boycott the movies, spread racist and sexist stuff online while denying being a racist or a sexist, and just generally be a miserable s.o.b.

Liberals allegedly obsess about politically incorrect media, but conservatives take up reams of space actually posting tl;dr's about it. Go figure.

If all the people here weren't saying the same crap, my responses wouldn't be able to the same thing. Even when someone hasn't posted anything, you still create your own threads designed to antagonize and mock others. What you claim isn't even happening. Most here that don't like Disney era Star Wars, still enjoy talking about the OT, PT, the Expanded Universe, and behinds material of the past 40 years. You would realize that if you weren't so focused on vilifying anyone with a different opinion than you. At least you admit to regurgitating the same points: - Disney makes money so they're flawless - Any criticism is just barely masked racism/sexism/etc. - Some trolls harassed actors/producers/etc. so ALL who criticize must be doing the same - Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Frank Oz, and Tim Rose's criticisms of Disney are "taken out of context" - You either love all Star Wars merchandising/movies OR you're not a "true fan" That's a summary of all your postings. You never even add a new perspective or details to these talking points - it's always the same nonsense. At least others who criticize the Disney movies add something new each time...hey! I guess you have something in common with your precious Disney! Congrats. You must be thrilled!

He's so spot-on. "There's more to it than that. You can't just go out and do spaceships."

Notice they aren't sending death threats to the makers of the show? Notice they aren't leaving racist invective on those peoples' social media? No, just posting sexist tweets and harassing Anthony Daniels for being disappointed with the misuse of his character. See? You're not the only one who can cast generalizations.

Indiewire calls TLJ a great Trump era movie because "those MAGA types" didn't like what it did to "their" franchise. Disgusting! www.indiewire.com/2018/06/movies-define-trump-era-1201977873/"With every new phase of the pathetic nerd outcry that’s hounded the best (and most inclusive) “Star Wars” movie ever made, it becomes increasingly clear that the response to “The Last Jedi” is a beautiful glimpse at how the MAGA types would have reacted if Hillary Clinton had won the election. “Star Wars” was their franchise, and Rian Johnson took it from them. He pulled out the past from under their feet — he killed it because he had to — and he did so in order to recenter the galaxy on the heroes who have its best interests at heart. Needless to say, that wasn’t appreciated by some of the people who’ve always felt entitled to their central role in this saga, and to the power that comes with it. Shrug emoji.Of course, “The Last Jedi” didn’t just piss off the right people, it also tapped into the desperation of being wronged, and the sacrifices required to restore the balance between them. No other Trump-era blockbuster has so viscerally conveyed the feeling of being eclipsed by an immense darkness, or so convincingly illustrated the possibility of finding a new hope."

Why is it that the ones throwing around such nonsense are always the whitest-people-ever? She doesn't need a Twitter account - she needs a mirror. Moron.
