Fill these categories using the parts from any quarterback in history so that you end up with the perfect quarterback. The categories are:
Arm Strength - Self explanatory. Do they have a gun to get the ball there quickly?
Accuracy / Touch - Also self explanatory. Can they fit the ball in the perfect spot while the receiver is being double-covered? And are they able to take something off the fastball when appropriate?
Legs / Scrambling Ability - Can they move out of the pocket when needed and can they also get a first down by running?
Vision / Intelligence - Can they see the whole field, dissect a defense, call a timely audible, make quick decisions?
Toughness - Can they take a hit and get back up or do they end up on IR when a D-Lineman looks at them funny?
Leadership / Intangibles - Harder for those of us not in the locker room to always determine, but are they a leader? How are they in the clutch? Do they whine about refs and make excuses and throw teammates and coaches under the bus or do they find ways to win?
Here’s my picks, with the disclaimer that there may be more than one good answer.
Arm - John Elway. Could get the ball to any part of the field from any part of the field. Also considered - Brett Favre, Randall Cunningham
Accuracy - Drew Brees. Throws more passes that just about anyone and still has the highest completion percentage. Also considered - Tom Brady, Dan Marino.
Legs / Scrambling - Michael Vick. Probably the greatest at this specific aspect out of anyone. Also considered - Steve Young, Randall Cunningham, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, Fran Tarkenton, Aaron Rodgers.
Vision / Intelligence - I think this really comes down to two qb’s, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. These guys do calculus while most others do basic math. Also considered - Kurt Warner, Montana, Dan Marino.
Toughness - Easy, has to be Favre, the Cal Ripken of QBs. Also considered - Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Elway.
Leadership / Intangibles - Three choices for me here are Brady, Montana, and Roger Staubach. All cool under pressure, all just win. Give me Brady since he’s done it the most. Also considered - BD Nick Foles baby!!!!

Hard to argue any of your picks.
Arm Strength - Self explanatory. Do they have a gun to get the ball there quickly?
- Has to be Elway
Accuracy / Touch - Also self explanatory. Can they fit the ball in the perfect spot while the receiver is being double-covered? And are they able to take something off the fastball when appropriate?
- Brees or Brady. Brady has a knack for putting the ball where only his receiver can get it and not getting him killed in the process. Hard to argue against Brees in this category, though.
Legs / Scrambling Ability - Can they move out of the pocket when needed and can they also get a first down by running?
- Brady. Kidding, I'll go Vick, though you should also give Elway consideration here.
Vision / Intelligence - Can they see the whole field, dissect a defense, call a timely audible, make quick decisions?
- Manning or Brady, though Manning's ability to do this seem to drop off a cliff in the playoffs.
Toughness - Can they take a hit and get back up or do they end up on IR when a D-Lineman looks at them funny?
- Favre, no contest. Played in a million straight games. Even if he was drunk and on 17 different pain killers at the time, he was out there.
Leadership / Intangibles - Harder for those of us not in the locker room to always determine, but are they a leader? How are they in the clutch? Do they whine about refs and make excuses and throw teammates and coaches under the bus or do they find ways to win?
-Brady all day, every day. His work ethic and willingness to be called out by Belichick has set the tone for that locker room for almost 20 years. 'The Patriot Way' doesn't work with a prima donna QB. On the field, his team BELIEVES they can win when he's out there. Gronk was practically in tears talking about Brady in a press conference once. Hell, the other team even openly fears him. See: that classic mic'd up bit from Super Bowl LI when the Falcons are blowing out the Patriots and one player is bragging about it on the sidelines while his teammate replies, "They got Tom Brady though."
Also maybe this goes under intangibles but another category that Brady excels in is operating under adverse conditions. Nobody in history is more consistent in wind, rain and snow. Honorable mention in that category would probably be Favre. Ironic that a guy from California and a guy from Mississippi would be so adept at navigating cold, sleet and snow.

With a baseball analogy, Tom Brady seems to have a 2nd baseman's athletic makeup... agile, strong, & mindful. Too many QB's have been oversized & lumbering or undersized & less prolific... corner infielders or outfielders. Russell Wilson is another 2nd baseman, with more speed.

Arm Strength - Brett Favre... most HOFers with his arm would be incredible. Accuracy / Touch - Tom Brady... TB12 always threads the needle &/or soft tosses seemingly at the most urgent times. Legs / Scrambling Ability - Steve Young... not a sprinter, yet 6yds on the ground are always available. Vision / Intelligence - Tom Brady ...he's essentially mastered the art of QB IQ, never unprepared for potential unknowns. Toughness - John Elway ...mind & body alike, Elway was cool under all circumstances. Leadership / Intangibles - Bart Starr ...franchise leader who wasn't a showman or hype fest.

Dan Marino. Probably the best QB in history. Sadly the Dolphins weren't interested in building a championship team around him.
