Don't want to come off as a complainer - because I believe Klentak has done more than most teams over the past 2 years - but I hope we're not done.
There's no way we're going to compete with the Gnats, Bravos or even possibly the Mutts if this is it.
I'm hoping a trade for Bryant is coming for the hot corner (I get it's scary being his free agency situation isn't straightened out) - and we get another starting pitcher for the middle of the rotation so we can slide Arrieta and Eflin down and move Velasquez and Pivetta to the pen.
If Bryant gets traded to the Braves (rumored) and Donaldson goes to the Gnats (departure of Rendon) - our rivals just keep getting stronger as we're standing pat hoping a kid - Alec Bohm (called up from the minors) will rescue us in the middle of the season.

Reds are awakening but it's still a tough division. The Cubs are on a downtick, but still dangerous. Milwaukee is still dangerous. The Pirates ship is sinking. But the Cardinals are still the team to beat. A lot of Reds had good years that weren't household names. Jesse Winker, Eugenio Suarez (monster), Luis Castillo. how much is left in Joey Votto's tank? A lot depends on Aristes Aquino. He started like Ted Williams and finished like Robin Williams. Nick Sentzel too.
I'm not sure about Miley though. They don't call the stadium "The Great American Bandbox" for nothing. He's #3 or #4 there but...

Per MLB.TV, Reds are talking about bringing Francisco Lindor to the south side of Ohio. Frankie could win an MVP in that park. They would be a WC pick with him, maybe a division

I had no idea that Jon Heyman reported over a week ago that the Rockies are listening to offers for Nolan Arenado. Aquino is basically Shane Spencer / Benny Agbayani, at least he looked that way last year. Light the baseball world on fire during your first month, then disappear into the depths of obscurity from whence they came. He's 25 too so it's not like he's a kid. Tremendous power, virtually zero plate discipline. Time will tell. Eugenio Suarez is awesome though.
