Meanie! I give out candy, regardless of costume or not. Sometimes it's that they can't afford one and don't have any imagination. So they go as themselves.  Get in the spirit like I do and get candy. I dunno why that is so hard. There is a Goodwill nearby that sells either costumes off the rack or one can put something together real cheap.

Yeah I couldn't do that. It feels against the spirit of the holiday. Halloween only comes once a year and it kicks ass. It's supposed to be fun. For the kids and adults giving candy. I'm actually bummed it's over and I have to wait another whole year. So I think you should've given the kid candy.
