Always enjoyed her, all the way back to her tv performance in Cinderella (1965) and her feature debut in The Happiest Millionaire (1967). She always had such a likable quality and a memorable singing voice. But I especially cherish her wonderful, out-of-character Oscar nominated performance in Victor Victoria. Boy, did she more than hold her own in that!

Boy, did she more than hold her own in that! She's got so much range. Like her singing & dancing contemporaries - Madeline Kahn, Teri Garr, Goldie Hawn, Bernadette Peters - she could go from dramatic to comedic within the bat of en eyelid. When I was a kid discovering their work, it felt like there was nothing these women couldn't do.

Yes, indeed. And I forgot to mention, if memory serves, that she was the youngest ever member of the Actors Studio - from her teens, I think. That would explain a few things about her talent, too.

Let’s also credit her for being the only cast member from “Color of Night” who knew exactly what kind of movie they were in.

A very likable actress. The Happiest Millionaire 1967 The 1970/1971 season of Mission Impossible in 23 episodes. As Lois Lane in a TV version of the 1960s Broadway musical It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman! 1975. Race for the Yankee Zephyr 1982, a New Zealand action movie that I remember was a hit on early video. I had totally forgotten about this movie. With Terence Stamp in The Limey 1991.

Lesley Ann Warren
'In My Own Little Corner' (Cinderella)
I saw Cinderella (1965) a number of times back in the day when it was shown on TV, but never realized it was shot in color (due mainly to the fact that we had a black & white TV for so many years, until finally getting our first color set sometime in the early 1970's), and was STUNNED upon learning this, just a few years ago !!
