I've never cared for this type of character, the quick-witted child, able to outsmart adults. No matter the movie or story. A 6 for me.

The original is definitely a 10/10. Everybody that I knew back then as a kid would dream of being left home alone for at least the weekend.
It's definitely a fun film that's very thought-provoking. It's also a must see around the holidays.

Really solid, strong 8/10 verging on 9. If I could give it an 8.5, I would.

8/10 The very best of the "hyperactive/clever-kid-go-up-against-the-idiotic-bullies/villains" kind of films made during the early 90s, and is also the best of the Home Alone series, by a long shot. One of those movies that I can only watch during winter/christmas time, and still makes me all nostalgic, maybe more that than funny these days.

I loved that film as a kid, and in my country it went under the title: "Kult med Cash" or in english it would have been: "Cool with cash". I have not seen it for almost 2 decades, so I might come back on this, as I remember it was one of the best Home Alone "rip-offs", with lots of crazy scenes taking place.

It's in my Christmas dvd rotation, late Nov/early Dec. Nostalgia plays a role, so be it.
B+ Stern & Pesci deliver the goods.
