1.Apocalypse Now - 8/10 (within my Top 61 movies. goes for regular or REDUX. i typically re-watch the REDUX though when i see it.) 2.Moonraker - 6/10 3.Time After Time (see below)
for my 3rd pick it's between... Alien/Rocky II/Time After Time/Mad Max. i have seen Time After Time once so far and it's been a long time since i last re-watched Mad Max. so in this regard ALien or Rocky II are probably the safer choices for me currently. i don't have any clear preference of those but ill give it to Time After Time simply because i feel Alien will likely get plenty of votes and Rocky II will probably get some votes etc. so i figured i would vote for Time After Time since it's the least popular of those four movies and i figured i would try to help out the underdog.

It is embarrassing to admit, but I absolutely love the sound track from the muppet movie.

Yeah when I was going through the list of films from 78 And Justice for all was the one i hadn't seen that I really wish i had curious what did you like about more American Graffiti. I had low expectations but aside from the fact it felt like a very different reality from the original I found it to be a bit of a hoot all round. I also liked the strange window boxing

As soon as I saw Kramer vs. Kramer I knew I wanted that one. Rocky II was awesome. The 3rd one I was kind of undecided, but I had to go with Star trek TMP. Even though it wasn't my all time favorite Trek movie, it had to be on there. Also I have to give a shoutout to another personal favorite of mine from 1979. Meatballs

The year of underwhelming movies. Not bad ones, just underwhelming. An underwhelming sequel to Graffiti, a contrived Hollywood formula movie about an assassination in Viet Nam, an underwhelming muppet movie, an underwhelming time travel movie, an underwhelming star trek spin off, just altogether underwhelming.
The stick out film is ALIEN, I dare say. MOONRAKER was a solid 007 flick for second place. Had all the essential elements of wit, high octane action, girls, and exotic scenery. Got difficult to pick after that.
