www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50284272Bayern Munich have parted company with manager Niko Kovac. The decision follows Saturday's 5-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt, which was the German champions' second in 10 Bundesliga games this season. Kovac leaves with Bayern fourth in the table, four points behind leaders Borussia Monchengladbach. The 48-year-old former Croatia midfielder had been in charge since July 2018 and led Bayern to a league-and-cup double last season. Kovac won 45 of his 65 games in charge of Bayern but Saturday's defeat was the club's heaviest in the Bundesliga in 10 years. After the game, Kovac admitted he was uncertain about his future at Bayern. "I know how this business works - I am not naive," he said on Saturday. "My feeling is not important, the ones who make the decisions are the ones you have to ask at the end of the day." Assistant coach Hansi Flick will take charge of Bayern in the Champions League against Olympiacos on Wednesday and Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.

Opening for the great Brendan Rodgers, though he'll have phone back Josep Maria Bartomeu in the morning and renegade his decision on taking over the Barcelona position.

I wonder how much Arsene paid to have his name on the shortlist?

Rangnick (serious option) or the Special One (the fun part)...all other can fuck off.
No hart feelings for Wenger, but I don't think he is the right guy for Munich - the rest can _really_ fuck off.
PS: I fear it will be this Dutch guy...our Bos-experience (the guy who failed abysmally in Dortmund) I want Dutch players, not coaches.

Jurgen Klopp can fuck off too?
Weren't you begging for him to 'come home' a while ago?
Of course he ain't going to accept it, not while the carrot of dismantling the aura of Guardiola is within reach, but if you sit still for a few months longer, hemis the overwhelmingly best candidate for a club of Bayern's standing. That's what really, really big clubs do, get the best.

I like him very much...I like the current club he coaches not that much (or the club before => Schwarz-Gelbe-Seuche). But I would rather see him and his team champions then Shittiola. And I guess that club from Liverpool (not Everton) have waited enough, and if they keep this level they simply deserved it.

Turned down the offered contract extension in the summer from Liverpool...If 'The Kaiser' was calling the shots at Bayern, he'd call that an open invitation.

Turned down the offered contract extension in the summer from Liverpool...If 'The Kaiser' was calling the shots at Bayern, he'd call that an open invitation. Hm...I'd love that idea but I guess Hoeneß and Rummenigge has to leave first. Klopp needs a certain amount of freedom (=> Gestaltungsspielraum)- like signing the players he wants/needs. Even Shittiola wasn't allowed that. He wanted Neymar, Hoeneß wanted Götze. Neymar brought Barca a transfer fee of around 200 million, Götze became a disaster in every regard: PR, Money, on the Pitch. And Bayern needs for years know a second top striker - Griezmann had been my choice...but Hoeneß still live in the 90s and does not accept the current market prices - at least for payers. In terms of income he is more then willing to ask top dollars like the in failed 800 million Euro deal with BMW. That's not insane to him. But 120 million for Neymar or Griezmann, that is... It's too early for Klopp imho. Mourinho for the fun.

Oh, I agree there, I've stated he isn't leaving yet. The seven year cycle (same period as Dortmund) takes in his current contract, then a decent sized sabbatical will ensue after for sure, but after Bayern, on the premises the current hierarchy has been put out to pastures new and the policy of attracting the best players comes in.
Mourinho has been learning German....though another Trappatoni esque press conference isn't out of the question. I take that's where the fun part plays in.

Koan Klopp! I'd prefer it, if Hansi stays (who even played for Bayern), when he's successful.
