Superman Returns barely has a pulse. Not sure what it says when the opening credits are the most exciting thing.

The Last Airbender (2010). I thought about choosing 10,000 BC except I did like some of the action in that;and Cliff Curtis is always a plus. Wait a second, even he was bad in the Last Airbender!

In fairly recent memory one movie comes to mind...
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) - 2/10 (boring. I turned it off @ 50min due to boredom)
p.s. only around 7% of all movies I have seen I could not finish due to boredom. which means that happens on an average of 1 out of every 14 movies I see over the long term.

The Last Jedi, though there a couple of other strong contenders already mentioned in this thread.

What was that series based on books that they decided to not bother finishing because it was so boring? They made three of them and then packed it in...

Wouldn't it be The Joker? It is not even an action film yet it is considered the most successful comic book film of all time. How can it qualify as a blockbuster (I assume it isn't technically speaking-are people really lining up around the block to watch it?)

I too thought Man 0f Steel somewhat boriπg and completely devoid of the charm of Chris Reeve's best and even Brandon Routh's Superman Returns. Like Matrix 2.....there is only a certain amount of time one (me) can put up with super folk crashing into each other and keep getting up for more.....before it becomes tedious and laughable. Extra disappointing also as I broke my own anticipation rules .......and was quite looking forward to it after Zack had knocked me out with the brilliant Watchmen.....still my fave superhero movie. I think M.of S. is the only movie I've ever been to where I disappeared from my seat for twenty minutes to get a couple of hot-dogs and a smoke.....a hell of a lot more enjoyable. My girlfriend thought I had got lost.
