Most people don't think they're choosing hell. It's not like it's, "I'd rather go to hell than heaven." It's more like, "I don't want anything to do with God." If God is the source of life, then to choose otherwise is death. Just what i thought .. very black and white -_- Well, in my opinion, I don't believe hell is eternal conscious suffering. Hell is predominantly described in the NT as a garbage dump. As such, the predominant metaphor used to describe what happens to those who aren't saved is spiritual "death" (or "perishing"). So if you don't want to join God's family (the function for which you were created), then you're simply put out of existence. So in that sense, it's ultimately not that much different than what an atheist would believe about your final fate. I do have some opinions about what happens "in between" earthly death and the final judgement, and I would be happy to get into that if you wanted me to. But in general, I just wanted to share that opinion.

Well, to answer the first one (not that I'm God or anything): God Doesn't Want to Send anyone to Hell. People decide for themselves to go to Hell. I've been told that before but honestly who would intentionally choose hell? Seems very few :/ People intentionally choose death all the time (no one is tortured for eternity. That's just an old popes tale and Baal before him...)
I would choose death over any number of other scenarios, so it makes sense to me that people would willingly choose to die rather than worship someone they don't want to.

You know many people who have told you that they "intentionally choose death?" :/ people who are miserable with their own lives maybe.. I just thought we all died naturally and had no power over death.. it happens to everyone regardless if they want it or not.

What would you want to ask God if you saw him hypothetically speaking? Some of mine would be: Are you real? How do you judge people/what makes you want to send someone to hell? Why do you bless certain people in life more than others? Why are there so many religions? Which religion is the right one? The role of God will be played by CoolJGS: Are you real? Yes I would have imagined him saying something more like "I am who I am" or "I am if you want me to be" -_-

If there is a god, I doubt it's like anything found in any religion's "holy book." So the only sensible question would be...."Where's the bar?"

Of course not, but I don't run into a lot of people shouting "I worship God" either.
Your opinion is often displayed by your actions and many people would prefer to live their life according to what they want to do.
Plus I don't know too may who haven't already factored in the reality of death in their lives.

"Mr. Big Shot, who do you think you are?"
Not really. Depends on if I met the real god, the good one with the good holy ghost, or one of the fake gods that obstruct our view of him.
Ever since Jesus gave Peter the power of the Holy Ghost, it has been abused and cloaked beneath the many demonic curtains that shield us from good. We know this because Jesus used it to heal, never destroy, yet the first thing Peter did was murder two people, one a woman, for not giving everything they owned, although they gave a lot.
That wasn't the "holy ghost", but a demonic force that hid the ghost. Since then it's been cloaked so many times that we can't possibly see God in this world.
So, when we do meet him, it will be because we put that into our spirit. We live in flesh now, and so we have desires, like a desire for Dawn Wells, or for a chocolate malt, or for superman's powers, or all three. We want those things. But to meet God, we have to "not want" to "want those things". We're cloaked by flesh now. When we free of that, and all Science and Mathematics have proven that your spirit and soul are separate from your mind and body, then you'll either "want to want those things" or "not want to want those things". Seems like a no brainer choice, yet most people actually do "want to want those things", and even brag about it.
If you meet a fake god, no question will get a straight answer. If you meet the good God, you'll know what to ask.

tpfkar Well then he wouldn't have created the place, made some people such that they don't have what it takes to avoid it, and of course not dump people there. Love™

Oh, & I forgot: What about those who decide to become Satanists (both the atheistic & theistic kinds...)?

Do alcoholics choose liver disease? Spiritual death (hell) is the natural consequence of rejecting the source of spiritual life (God).

Why do you bless certain people in life more than others? Why are there so many religions? Which religion is the right one? Not speaking for God, but offering some answers to a few of your questions based on belief. Yes, God is real. But, I think this is something one has to realize for him/herself. I've had experiences in my life that have let me know God is real. In terms of God sending someone to hell. He doesn't. God gives us free will. Its the decisions we make, actions we take that send us to hell. About blessing certain people more than others. I think our life on earth is like a testing ground, or culling field. I think we are given some blessings just to see what we will do with them, selfishly use them for ourselves or for the benefit of others, whether the choices we make are in line with or contrary to the purpose that God has for us.

Did you create lifeforms on other planets, and can I see them? And, as God, I would say, "Yes, someday, after this Earth problem gets straightened out by my Kingdom, I will give you, and other humans with you, the ability to travel between the stars, and visit those planets. That's your desire, I'll help you do it." -- Psalm 145:16.
