That reminds me of the people who'd get righteously enraged at Matthew Broderick over the car accident he had in Ireland back in '85-'86-ish. Exactly, that a great parallel. But, she indulges herself in these weird diversions into celebrity gossip because she enjoys judging famous people. SaveSaveAnd if they're rich and famous, they MUST be the guilty party, because NO ONE would ever try to take advantage of someone who's loaded in any way.

Surprised there's even this level of interest for ANOTHER movie about a Z-list job squad dicking around in space while exchanging "witty" banter. Least it has Big Dave and that cute little baby tree, I suppose...

I think you'll be happy to know that many of the critical elite are calling this installment a sure fire case of the sophomore-sequel blues. SaveSave

SaveSaveYou should seriously just block him. He's off the mindset that every comic book movie has to end with the majority of the characters dead, that all forms of humor or wit must be removed, and all color most be drained from the pallet. The MCU goes against his "fine" sensabilities of "proper" cinema. In essence, he's a troll.

Are you just miffed that I said you'd only see it thirty to sixty times? What's for real the most times you've seen a particular MCU movie and how many was it? I'll bet it was Winter Soldier. Mine is thrice, for The Avengers.

If he can't do the same, then I'll take the appropriate steps. I think MCU fans should be held to a higher standard of discourse. SaveSave

We're fine until you decide to start spouting the same old untrue crap about the MCU. We get it. You hate the fact they make movies about lesser known comic book characters and you can't stand to see these lesser knowns becoming very known.

You never answered the question! Usually only once or twice. I've only seen (some of) the others once in the cinema save for The Avengers, which I thought was a landmark achievement worth seeing twice more.

SaveSaveI did try that higher standard of discourse in the beginning, but then I realized it wasn't worth to put that much effort into it. They always spout the same old "Marvel never takes any risks (despite the fact the MCU in and of itself is a huge risk), they always play it face (yeah, sure, we'll go with that. Making movies about obscure and weird comic book characters no one's heard of is "playing it safe". Riiiiiight...), and they're too quippy (yet I never see these people complaining about Edward Burns, Adam Goldberg, and Barry Pepper being total smartasses in Saving Private Ryan).

It's not that I can't STAND it, but it does strike me as strange and a little bit ridiculous that Disney is pushing all of it with a straight face. But, I mean, they're raking it in, so good for them, I suppose.

You are literally the only comic book fan I've ever known who hates seeing lesser known comic book superheroes get a chance to shine. I'll remember the stance you've taken when an obscure superhero you do like gets a movie made about them.
