As soon as the first one was over, when I saw it opening night back in August 2014, my initial reaction was "ok, I cannot wait for the sequel because I loved these characters and can't wait to see them again. But at the same time, I don't expect them to top this one because this was pretty damn good" and it's still my second-favorite Marvel movie
And especially after AoU miiiildly disappointed, my adjusted my expectations for Vol 2 accordingly, since most Marvel sequels (Iron man 2, Thor 2, AoU) are inferior to their first installments, I always knew it would be tricky to make a Guardians sequel that was better or even AS GOOD as the first, so these reactions/reviews aren't all that surprising, I will admit I did get really excited when I heard it scored a perfect 100% with test audiences, but that basically just tells me this is a movie for the masses, not the critics, but it being Marvel I'm still sure majority of critics will recommend it, because it does look fun, just follows the typical Marvel Formula which no one should be surprised about

Never suggested that they said that. Why do you only see things in extremes, Marvel Zombie? But that's exactly how you are taking it. I'm not a marvel zombie heck I don't even really care for the Thor movies and I wasn't huge on Iron man 2 or 3. I'm just proving a point that marvel can still make misses, but can at least learn from them unlike DC. Why you making this a Marvel vs DC thing?

Because you are acting like DC knows their shit when they don't. Perfectly said
And BTW GOTG2 is getting great reviews. If somebody wants to make an 86 sound like a bad score, they can go fuck their mother.
You asume trolls have mothers? I always thought they came out of holes in the ground.

Why do people constantly keep getting sucked in by mediocre MCU drivel like this? I usually agree with Harloffs reviews and if he's said MEH then it probably is given the other reviews Iv read as well. Once again a pitiful entry into the modern-MCU gets a thumbs up pass.

Oh step of your high horse. Stop judging a movie that hasn't even come out yet. Only a few reviews have called it mediocre, most reviews have said it was good. I understand that you're biased against MCU but still wait before basing your opinion off reviews along with judging other opinions.

I'm still waiting to see meh reviews and I've only seen one review call it garbage, but it makes me wonder what that reviewer actually finds good. And also the movie is currently sitting at an 87 on rotten tomatoes which is still pretty damn good.

Nah, we just like CBMs that are unashamed. Unlike the X-Men movies and their endless Holocaust Exploitation or 1-Dimensional take on prejudice and bigotry.
