Falcons beat Saints 26-9. Total domination. Falcons outrushed the Saints 143 to 51. Falcons sacked Brees 6 times. (Ryan was sacked once.) Basically the Falcons controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Saints didn't score a touchdown. What the hell happened to them? I don't know. We will have to see. Was it the proverbial "evey team lays an egg, every now and then"? Or is it the beginning of the end for the Saints, and Drew Brees? (Dude's getting old.) |

What the hell happened to them? I'll be the first to say it....... They were better with Teddy Bridgewater. I was thinking the same thing. "This never would have happened with Teddy Bridgewater." |

I'll be the first to say it....... They were better with Teddy Bridgewater. Let's not forget, the Saints barely beat Houston in the first week, lost Brees in the next game against Rams, dominated for 5 games with Bridgewater (including a big win in Seattle), and struggled against Arizona in Brees's first game back from injury. Obviously, Brees is better than Bridgewater, but just some food for thought. No doubt about it. The team played better under Teddy Bridgewater. |

I honestly had them pegged as an under the radar team to trade up a few spots in the draft for a QB like how the Chiefs did with Mahomes. They still had Alex Smith and a decent team but needed his replacement. Vikes are in the same situation unless they're thinking of extending Cousins which would be my fear if I was a fan of them.
