Horror movies i mean sure i have seen some good horror movies but mostly i find them boring.

Westerns. Although many of them end in the same way with a gun duel or big shootout, I have come to admire their craft of storytelling.

I find gross-out comedies to be cheap and unfunny for the most part.

Modern musicals. I love the musicals from the 1930's but cant stomach the stuff produced these days.

For the most part, Westerns. There are a handful that I really like, but overall, not a fan of them.
Also, action hero movies.

Most horror produced post late 1980s, especially torture porn. I like horror that conveys a sense of dread and foreboding, but I'm not really into the lets see if we can gross out the audience type horror.

I'm warming to them, but war movies (particularly with a WWII backdrop) and mobster/mafia movies were never naturally interesting to me. By now it's almost past tense because I've seen some really good ones, but neither were my first choice for most of my life.

French new wave
I love the essence of their style, I love many movies influenced by the film movement, but every time I've tried to watch Breathless, 400 Blows etc, I've just found them mind numbing.
