I live in Santa Cruz, CA so I've been to the Boardwalk where films like The Lost Boys and Sudden Impact have been filmed. I lived in the same neighborhood where they shot quite a bit of the surfing film Chasing Mavericks.
The movie location I would love to visit is the hotel where Kubrick shot The Shining.

If you're talking about the guy who dressed in pink and would SLOWLY walk up and down Pacific Ave in downtown Santa Cruz, then first off that is cool that you're aware of him, but unfortunately he's not around anymore. I don't know if the guy is still in Santa Cruz, but if he is he doesn't do the Umbrella Man thing anymore. Unfortunately, Santa Cruz is a shell of what it once was, and characters like Umbrella Man have kind of faded away.

I went to college at Georgetown and routinely passed some of the places used in The Exorcist. A friend was an extra. I wanted to dine here but it's gone now. I hear the veal was the best in the city.

Last decade I attended a professional conference in San Francisco. In between meetings I sought out as many Vertigo sites as I could walk to. To start with is the Brocklebank Apartments from which Scottie followed Madeleine Elster. As Madeleine drives away, the Fairmont Hotel is briefly glimpsed. That is where I was staying, so these two locations were easy. My favorite of my location hunts. My major find was Scottie's apartment. James Stewart and Kim Novak play a scene on its front porch. When I was there, a line of trees somewhat blocked the view. Today, a wall has been put up around it. The address is 900 Lombard Street. Below, what it looked like in 1958 and then what I saw (but the trees were all filled out). Another great find was the Empire Hotel (called The York when I visited), where Judy Barton lived. Novak appears at a window while Scottie watches below. It is located at 940 Sutter St. A fan has helpfully provided a pointer to Judy's window.

I've visited the Michael Myers house, the Nightmare on Elm Street house, and the Bates motel.
Keeping with the Horror theme, I'd love to go to the town where they shot Scream and see the various locations there, especially Stu's house.

The movie location I would love to visit is the hotel where Kubrick shot The Shining. I woulda said that, but only the exteriors were shot there. The interiors were studio sets in England, so not the same for me.

I doubt I have seen much if anything in person (if I have I am not aware of anything off the top of my head) but I did find a location from the movie 'Leon (1994)' on Google Maps years ago which I saved the screenshot I took here (which probably looks even different today as that was from early 2010 when I took the screenshot and Google Maps shows 2009. so the Google Maps image of that section in Leon is probably from 2009 or thereabouts which shows you how stuff looks from about 15 years after the movie was filmed)...

Most notably for me, the location I've visited is the one I lived in as a kid in the trailer court off Crittenden Drive in Louisville, when GOLDFINGER was filmed. Much of that movie was made in the heart of Louisville, where I lived. Now, the trailer court and the Twilight Drive In no longer exist. They were torn down to make Kentucky Kingdom. Much of the scenery from GOLDFINGER is from the area around there in Southern Louisville, and that didn't exist any more even by 1974. Still get a feeling of Nostalgia when i see the movie.
Where would I visit? Obviously the fantasy "Paradise" ones, where everyone can be as healthy and perfect as they want to be. Not the "flawed Paradise" that is the Hollywood and publishing company cliche, but the real one, like Heaven itself.
