Read this yesterday. That's how you stay motivated as a 42 year old, six-time champ. What's crazier, the fact that the Patriots have won six Super Bowls, or the fact that they're a handful of plays plays away from probably winning ten? If the helmet catch doesn't happen (or if Assante Samuel catches a pick that literally went through his hands) in SB 42; if Brady doesn't fumble against the Eagles (look guys, I blamed Brady for something!) or if they get any stops at all in SB 52; if Manningham doesn't catch that ball down the sideline in Super Bowl 46 (or if Welker catches a ball he had both hands on-- we all know that Pats defense wasn't going to get a stop), or if Gronk catches the hail mary; if Caldwell doesn't drop that pass late in the 2006 AFC championship game in Indy (Pats had already beaten that shitty Bears team that year); if, if, if.
And yes, their wins came down to a handful of plays, too. That's how hard it is to win in this league. I don't think I'd have to remind Brady of any of this.

The 'ifs' are always fun to think about but there are at least as many in each of those games that went their way too, and they still lost those games. Par for the course.

I think we’ve heard quite enough on this subject. Christ, what next? A 52 year old Brady resolving to play another season after lamenting that he “only” won 10 rings?

GOTTA FEEL FOR THE GUY MUST HURT TO LOSE A SUPER BOWL linkSeven is a special number. Six not so much. Imagine he never ever again wins a Super Bowl and will fall short of this one Super Bowl to achieve this special number. It will haunt him for the rest of his days. I would feel really sorry for him. He must win this years to quell these demons once and for all. PS: My top dark horse by now are the Ravens.

GOTTA FEEL FOR THE GUY MUST HURT TO LOSE A SUPER BOWL linkI don't feel any sympathy for cheaters like Shady Brady. There are plenty of great players like Dan Marino and Barry Sanders who worked their butts off their entire careers and couldn't win a Super Bowl while Shady Brady takes a shortcut and cheats instead of putting in the hard work like everyone else does. It's a lot like that skinny dude in the movie Captain A-Hole: The First Avenger. He couldn't pass the physical to get into the Army because he was too lazy to train and exercise like the other soldiers did. So he's given a super-PED and joins the Army and despite having no experience as an officer and no experience leading a unit of soldiers, he's automatically handed the rank of Captain over more experienced and more qualified officers who had worked their butts off their entire careers to put themselves next in line for a promotion to Captain.

What I love about this post is that isn't what happened in the movie at all; which makes sense because that isn't what happened in real life at all.

The Patriots have left 4 titles on the table... 2007 AFC title game Colts comeback... winner gifted the Bears. Belichick wasn't ready for Coughlin's schemes in 2008. Brady wasn't sharp enough in 2012 SB. Defense possibly only needed to stop 1-2 more series against the Eagles to win in 2017.
10. Brady & Belichick might've had 10 Super Bowl titles with more work & some luck.

Vinatieri misses a few field goals, Dan Quinn remembers how to coach while leading, Donovan McNabb doesn’t puke his pussy guts out during the two minute drill, Jared Goff doesn’t turn into Ryan Leaf..... It goes both ways. Every game comes down to a few key plays.

You used the wrong years for most of those references; NFL games are titled by their season year, not calendar year. It's the 2006 AFC title game, 2007 SB, 2011 SB. 2017 is correct. Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine. And they might've had 0 Super Bowl titles with less work & more luck (luck for the rest of us, I mean).

They made an episode on what started it all (worth watching even if it's a montage of different clips from others episode and shows):
Watch it on Youtube if it's blocked here.

Didn't John Elway say that he still to this day isn't over any of the SUPERBOWL Games that he lost ?

You talk about the Super Bowls the Patriots nearly and could've won, but there were Super Bowls they nearly and could've lost as well. 1. Tuck Rule. Without that blown call, the Patriots don't even get to the AFC Championship Game, let alone the Super Bowl. 2. Pete Carroll's boneheaded play call. 3. The Falcons blowing a big lead. Even if you ignore all the cheating from SpyGate and DeflateGate, Brady & Belichick might've easily been 3-5 in Super Bowls.

Didn't John Elway say that he still to this day isn't over any of the SUPERBOWL Games that he lost ? Yep, idiot Brady fanboy ReyKahuka thinks Brady is great for not being over a Super Bowl loss, but Elway not only isn't over any of his Super Bowl losses, Elway isn't over losing his final game at Stanford to Cal on The Play.

Idiot Brady fanboy. Sorry Rey but I chuckled at that one. I'd gladly make that my username if I were a Pats fan.
