No way they would eat sweet potatoes back then - it HAD to be tomato soup. Chow mein was so "exotic" I think I've eaten 3 tv dinners ever.

WHOA ! Check out these most interesting classic TV Dinner combos here too ( some of these are definitely before my time here also )  .
some interesting selections indeed. I lived off similar selections. A bachelor that doesn’t cook. that is right in my wheelhouse ms z

I thought cornbread would have made
way more sense for that turkey meal than tomato soup  .
The tomato soup would have gone way better with
the Salisbury Steak meal instead  .
It still amazes me that the soup in these dinners
didn't spill everywhere once it was recooked
with the rest of it too  .

I understand and was a bachelorette way back in the day also Jay  .
So these quick dinners certainly got me
through my childhood and teen years
before I learned how to cook meals of my own  .
Of course before that it and in between
it was my grandmothers wonderful home cooking too  .
