I watched it for the first time 3 months ago. I expected it to be boring and pretentious oscar bait, but I was really moved by the story. One of the best movies of 2014 and in my opinion the best movie out of all the Best Picture nominees that year. The Grand Budapest Hotel & Whiplash are incredible as well. Actually, all the nominees are good movies. 2014 was a very good year for movies. So a 10/10 for me.

It was interesting to see the children getting older as time went on, but the movie didn't really have a plot other than watching them grow up.
I didn't like it all that much, but it was an interesting project to keep it going for ten years.
