Did anyone happen to watch the final season of the Deuce? Thought it was pretty solid. Some of it drags (every time Eileen is babbling on about her cinematic vision it couldn't get any more boring) but over all great characters and performances. Lots of former Wire actors

No, I watched the first two series though. Not sure s3 is available on any of the streaming services in the UK yet.

Yep, adored every last sleazy minute of it. Best thing on TV in the last few years. Simon and Pelecanos? A match made in heaven.

Must admit I was getting a wee bit bored with it. Not a fan of James Franco. And Margaret Levieva’s character was a pain in the ass.

Was just so evocative of a time and place. I remember well Soho in London in the 70's and it brought back memories of that wonderfully decadent and undeveloped period before money ruled everything. Also, I fell in love with Candy (Maggie G)
