To be fair mate, you don't actually play for Real Madrid do ya.
They give you ginormous amounts of cash, and you go and play golf.

I think, if true, it's a mistake not to learn the language of the country you go to play in, it's disrespectful when you are taking so much money from them but, to be fair, he has been mucked around by them a lot. Would be best for both parties just to end the sorry saga.

Etiquette is if you sign for a club abroad, one of your first tasks is to learn the language, so that you can all communicate, and you can fulfill your press duties etc. That's why some players and managers can speak 4 or 5 languages after moving around.
