Still don't understand how the hell a ball in a glove means “Brewer.” M are the fingers in the glove, B is formed by the thumb of the glove. It's sort of a Rorshach thing

I still miss the Montreal elb's While the Canadiens logo still stands and is associated with more success (not now, but in history), I always felt the Expos logo was more iconic, to an extent:
You already got the explanation but from the Question box section of the New York times, from June 3rd 1985:
Then you can find other sources that confirms the basics:
I guess the "L" is only visible because they wanted to emphasize on the "e" and "b" while making a connection with the Canadiens colors. Still one of the best concept of all time, to the point it got ranked #12 on the list of the 30 best baseball logos of all time by ESPN:
And despite the team departure, the caps are still pretty popular:
The caps are made by New Era and sold at many sports shop, here is their site with the selection:
www.neweracap.com/search?q=expos%3Arelevance&page=0&scroll=toListing
I own two different models.

Minnesota Wild: On first glance, just looks like the moonlit woods, right? But look closer! It's also a bear's head! This symbolizes both the wilderness and the "wildness" of Minnesota! I dunno man. I guess, if they say so. All I see are upside down red pine trees. You know. Seeing the forest through the trees.

Until this came up I never noticed the lower case e before. What about the rumor of that being a blue lower case b for baseball though?

If I'm not mistaken, in an interview given a few days prior to his HOF enshrinement, Tim Raines talked about his career and while covering the Expos part of it, he did talk about the meaning behind the logo. He said the B was for baseball...
It's not an absolute confirmation but that's commonly accepted.

No one ever sees the hidden majestic gems in this piece of gutter trash. Sometimes it looks like a sniper's scope aiming at the team, or the team has reported for prison time behind bars.

Something I have noticed with all the sports logos. Basketball is the only one where they incorporate the ball into the logo of the majority, if not all, the teams. Must be manditory with a rule or something.

I don't think NHL logos ever went full hockey puck round logo, which is good.

Circular logos... the NBA has succumbed to them, & MLB to a degree also. NHL is a nice holdout. I think their symmetry & app appeal are big reasons.

While I like some newer ones, I really like it when an older team has stuck with their logo for many years. Like the Yankees and Cubs.

New Colts' alternate logo. Now, I know what you're all thinking: "it's the state of Indiana!" and you're right, that's definitely the primary image. But it's also one of those hidden meaning logos. If you look around the obvious Indiana picture, there appears to be a blue C, which I think (though, granted, this is only a theory) could stand for Colts.

Anyone else see the giant tractor beam pulling the state of Indiana through a massive blue void?

Anyone else see the giant tractor beam pulling the state of Indiana through a massive blue void? That’s a road. See how it’s only on one side? It means no one goes through Indiana anymore! Teams will come into the fortress of Lucas Oil Stadium - but they won’t be leaving. At least, not with their dignity.

Holy shit, it's Long Island!! I always thought the N stood for “Not the Rangers.” And the puck marks the spot that the navy shot down TWA-800.

That dude is the (almost). There's entertaining, and then there's just being a fucking asshole.
