....willingly that is. The 'go to' comfort zones when you have time for yourself. The warm comfy slippers that welcome you and refresh you and brings the smiles....or whatever.

Titanic and Scream. Saw them repeatedly as a kid, and now I still watch them every year or so.

Titanic and Scream. Saw them repeatedly as a kid, and now I still watch them every year or so. My youngest daughter has seen Titanic umpteen times...and still cries. Too sad for me. A lot of presents i've given her are Titanic related....including signed James Cameron behind scenes photo. She cried at that too LoL

Star Wars - not a big favourite but viewings do include watching it almost every morning on VHS one summer holiday
Otherwise probably a toss up between
The Thing Big Trouble In Little China Gregory's Girl

Eraserhead - I think 7 times
Then a few things I've probably seen 5 or 6 times, including:
2001: Space Odyssey In the Mood For Love Mulholland Dr.

My list is long:
The Shawshank Redemption Casablanca The Maltese Falcon Gone with the Wind
There are more, but those are the top contenders - more than 30 viewings each.

It's hard to say in terms of all-time.
but strictly in terms of movies released in the current decade the following pretty much sum it up...
-Drive (2011) (8 times) -Skyfall (2012) (5 times) -True Grit (2010) (roughly 5 times) -Edge of Darkness (2010) (at least 5 times, but probably about 6 times) -In Time (2011) (5 times) -The Descendants (2011) (5 times) -The American (2010) (at least 5 times, but probably about 6 times) -Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011) (5 times) -Carnage (2011) (5 times)
p.s. but just to list some movies off the top of my head I remember re-watching a fair amount back-in-the-day (say late 1980's, but mostly 1990's) on TV (or VHS) etc... The Wizard of Oz (1939)(I don't like this movie anymore as it's pretty dull)/The Karate Kid (1984) (and sequels when I could(for the record... I only like the 3rd movie nowadays))/Jurassic Park (1993)/Speed (1994)/Twister (1996)/Face Off (1997)/Back to the Future (trilogy)/Terminator 2 and I would imagine Rocky movies and Rambo etc etc.

Those VHS tapes got a lot of plays, nothing comes close even now that I'm older.

Back to the Future... first VHS title I ever owned, got years' worth of a head start.
Star Wars... VHS trilogy release in the 90's pushed it way up.
A Christmas Carol '51... what can I say, annual viewings since I was about 7-8yrs old?
Die Hard... Christmases, tv, VHS, dvd, blu…
