OT: Anyone on here still visit the real IMDB site?

Perhaps once or twice every couple of days, mainly to look up actors in a film/TV show.

I go to imdb for movie trivia and for week-end  box office numbers.I go once or twice a week.Nothing compared to how often I used to go when they had the discussion boards.

I do..but man rarely. I usually go to see how high a film is rated. For example I was curious if I should watch the Interview with Franco and Rogan or Nerve with Roberts and Franco (Odd...those darn Francos!)

I go occasionally for movie or TV show information.

Sometimes to get the ratings (out of 10) of old movies that are about to be shown on TV - to see if they're worth watching.

Not very often at all.

I only signed up to IMDb about a year ago, but for about 10 years before that I used to still go on the film message boards just to read the tit for tat people were having on how their opinion of a film was 'right'.  It was fun to read, and it gave me a feeling of superiority that I wasn't engaging in such pointless heated debates.  For all that time I actually didn't know the sports and politics section existed, it was pretty well hidden away.  I can't even remember how I stumbled upon it now, but I must have said to myself "yeah, sports is a legitimate use of my time to waste arguing about".  Actually to be fair it is normally fairly calm in the sports section, at least from the British contingent.

Generally I'll go to IMDB for 2 reasons:

1. I see some hot actress in something and want to either find out her name or what else she's been in.

2. Movie and / or cast info - I can't remember if so-and-so was in a particular movie, who directed a movie, stuff like that.

But I go to IMDB much less than I did when the boards were active.
