Yeah, it blew people's minds to see Vader as a hero in AotC. A petulant, whiny, narcissistic incel hero. Ben Kenobi always said he was a good man before he turned. Kenobi? Ben Kenobi? I wonder if you refer to that old hermit who constantly lied to Luke, pitting Luke to kill his father making Luke believe that he destroys his father's murderer? Not even telling the truth when Luke ran in Vader's obvious trap - you do not need enemies when you have mentors like this. I am sure you can bank on this guys "truths",... from a certain point of view at least. Also, good and evil are a point of view, Brad. Anakin was a good person keen on helping others without reward, just unable to let go of his attachments and his fear of losing the ones he loves. At that point, there's no reason to lie about the false merits of Luke's POS father, especially when his goal is for Luke to kill him. indeed long have I waited on my Kangaroo farm high in the Austrian alps. I should not have come back, ...like Palpatine. But the end is nigh, Brad. These maniacs, they finally did it, they blew it up! TRoS will deal the final death blow to the saga, or is it a coup de grace at this point? And even Baby Yoda can no longer hep them. This is how Star Wars dies, with thunderous applause. It's not too late for you, son. Our lord Lucas is more forgiving than I am. Repent your prequel hatred and your journey to the light side will be complete.

Stilted acting, clunky dialogue, a movie buff craves not these things. Half-assed political commentaries not make one great. Though neither does remaking RotJ, which is probably what TRoS will end up being. |
