I hope the UN works to unite us in areas where they have some ability to unite us vs something like religion.
I have no idea what that might be, and I'm not sure in today's world that the UN has any idea either.

Just thought I would clarify that. Carry on. The religious right seem to view the UN as a world government that can just order all the countries around. You might as well say that the Red Cross is going to force everyone to join a new religion, it's that ridiculous.
