Movies that are rated low after the year 2000

I second Thirteen Ghosts, although it is a guilty pleasure.

I genuinely enjoy most of the Saw movies and none of them have a higher score than 50 on RT (not even the original!).

I am not sure about those sites but as far as IMDb goes there are only a small amount of movies with a 6.4/10 or less average score I give a 7/10 or higher, which are...

There is no difference as you either enjoy a movie or your don't in a very basic sense. so "guilty pleasure" or not, it won't matter.

I always rate movies based on how much I enjoy watching them as rating any other way makes no sense since it's not a honest score.

Mediocre reviews? Screw those people.

To be fair, most credible reviews of Life Aquatic usually offer their admittance that it will impress & entertain those who's lane it really suits.  Like me.  I've never read a harsh review about it, & frankly I see critics sneaking it back into hindsight praise when discussing Wes' newer stuff.
It also seems to find more fans as more time passes.  I could go on... vibrant characters, dialogue, locales, visuals, score, Bowie sung in Portuguese, levity & nuanced emotions alike, with one of the finer finale payoffs.

It's my #8 all time.  4-5yrs ago it was in my 30's.  It's aged ridiculously well.

  I loved the movie "Thir13en Ghosts" (2001) and was lucky enough to watch it in theaters, twice. It just had a pace to it that kept you highly entertained. I got to watch "Punisher: War Zone" (2008) but not until years after it was released. I was pleasantly surprised. And I still haven't been able to watch "Your Highness" (2011), I keep passing on it for some reason. Take it as you will, but these are some of my favorite movies below, with a rating mostly lower than 50% on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic with IMDB ratings included.
