No. I haven't seen the show yet @red but I have been hearing things about it. What is the deal with the baby Yoda character and is it related to Yoda and Yoda kept it hidden somewhere or is it just some random alien character that is the same species? Also I heard rumours the Ewoks are going to be in 'The Mandalorian' and have they been in it yet and did they get Warwick Davis back? The Ewoks in many ways are the unsung heroes of the Star Wars franchise. Without them they would have never defeated the Empire in 'Return of the Jedi' and they need to bring them back whether it is in a movie or a TV Show and give them the thanks they deserve. Bring back Wicket!!!

@deblovesbeccy, it's kinda spoiler territory but I can talk more about it if you want to? As for the ewoks, they havent appeared yet but the naughty Jawas did. It's interesting, instead of the Ewoks Lucas considered putting in Wookies but it was too expensive and you would have to find a lot of tall people. Obviously he chose Ewoks and that helped him with the merchandise angle. Did you also hear about the planned Obi wan series? Deborah Chow will be directing it all and she's fantastic after seeing her episode (no 3) in the Mandalorian

Georgie you were making hundreds of millions per movie, and the budget was less than $50m, too expensive my arse you cheap prick, we deserved the wookies...also come on the height thing wouldn't have been an issue, just invite an NBA team to star in the movie, job done.
God love Lucas, "eh the wookies may be a bit expensive even though you know they are integral to the final battle, hmm but I will absolutely invest millions of dollars and hundreds of man hours in 15 years for the special edition release to include a CGI song and dance number nobody but me will like, that's money well spent I think, ok so no wookies, hmmm screw it we'll use dwarves in teddy bear costumes, it'll work the same way and I will save 50% on material cost hahaha..." Fuck you George.
Cannot wait for the Obi Wan series, that should be awesome, have you seen Chapter 4 yet Biz? If so what do you think about the little nuggets of backstory for the Mando as well as the Mandalorian culture stuff, I am loving it myself, that and Baby Yoda is still adorable and funny...gotta give him an actual name, Bada? Yoba? Yodo? or should we just call him The Kid?

I thought it was awesome. I figured it would be pretty hard to beat the third episode but the 4th episode was just as good, if not better and so soon too. It did remind me of a clone wars episode but in a good way, similar setting but instead it was Obi or Anakin and Ahsoka or maybe all three, cant exactly remember. Excellent direction by Bryce, who the fuck knew she had it in her?! Solid action, characters, story and this time a bit of heart. Great world-building.
How about LGM AKA little green man?
There's also this,

LGM is too close to a droid name for Star Wars, how about Greenie?
Yeah the ep had a bit of that vibe to it I think in Clone Wars they did that story a couple of times with some variation, this one felt a lot like the one you are saying which I think had Hondo as the bad guy iirc.
One complaint that made me laugh someone had was why in a universe of interplanetary travel was the village so low tech, my first thought was have you heard of the Amish? or seen any space sci fi show in the last 30 years, they have all done this to one degree or another, just because you have tech doesn't mean you want to use it, only thing I didn't like was how they ended the conflict was a little rushed and too easy imo, not to give spoilers but imo it should have been more a triumph of the heroes intellect and strategy than the failure of the villains idiocy but that's just me.

Deborah Chow will be directing it all and she's fantastic after seeing her episode (no 3) in the Mandalorian Well, we won't get to see the show until we get Disney + which won't be until next year 'cause we have spent a lot of money on Christmas in the last three months as it is and need to cut down our spending so I don't mind if you reveal some things to me @red and I remember the Jawas and they were the little aliens with glowing eyes that say "Maltenee, Maltenee" that kidnapped C3PO and R2D2 at the beginning of 'Star Wars: A New Hope' and it is funny they are bringing those back again. There are a few alien creatures I wouldn't mind seeing again and I also wouldn't mind seeing them go back to some locations from the previous movies and with this new show being based after 'Return of the Jedi' it would be fun to have the characters go to some of the locations in the prequel movies to see what they look like years later 'cause they didn't return to them in the original trilogy. I heard about Wookies originally being used instead of Ewoks and I am glad they went with the Ewoks 'cause the Ewoks are cute and they are like big teddy bears and I would like an Ewok to cuddle.
I have been looking forward to seeing the Obi Wan show the most and I am curious if they will have him face Darth Maul in the movie since they brought him back in 'Solo' but we are obviously not getting a sequel for that now and will Liam Neeson's character return as a ghost 'cause the last thing we heard Yoda say to Obi Wan in 'Revenge of the Sith' was about Qui-Gon.
They wouldn't be able to do the Maul thing in Obi-Wan unless they want to break canon, as Obi-Wan & Maul don't meet again after Clone Wars until Rebels, and this show is set in between the two shows, Kenobi facing off with Vader one more time could happen though, as theres the line Vader says to Luke that Obi-Wan once thought as Luke does, in regards to Vader still having good in him, but as we see in the movies this doesn't happen, and it's set far enough before ANH to allow the line in ANH about a presence Vader hasn't felt in many years to remain accurate, plus it's the biggest and most obvious connection to a final conflict Kenobi could have.
Just an FYI Deb they do go back to Tatooine specifically Mos Eisley in an episode of The Mandalorian which makes sense as that's likely to be a major location in the Kenobi series also, so why not keep it fresh in peoples minds? Who knows if were going to revisit anywhere else though.
Why does it not surprise me you like those cute little murder bears...you know they eat people right? kind of funny how that's something people overlook, and something Lucas never edited out, he edited Greedo shooting first because it made Han look bad but the adorable murder bears who wanted to eat Han & Luke and were likely cooking Storm Troopers during the celebrations at the end of Jedi, that he keeps in...Lucas is a weird duck.

Well, look who was right? I haven't seen 'The Rise of Skywalker' yet but General Kenobi 's Behind the Scenes picture above is the real deal and the Ewoks have FINALLY returned and I have been waiting to see the Ewoks return in a 'Star Wars' movie since 'Return of the Jedi' and it is so wonderful to hear they have listened to us Ewok fans and brought them back again. You know, if they had brought them back in 'The Force Awakens' this could have been over a lot quicker and all they had to do was get a lot of Ewoks on a ship and take them over to Kylo and the First Order equipped with guns and lightsabers this time too and launched 'Invasion of the Ewoks' and the Ewoks would have taken them all out and saved the Galaxy. With their numbers Ewoks with Lightsabers would have been unstoppable and taken Kylo down from the knees. As for what Ewoks eat I don't remember it ever being confirmed they eat people. They didn't say that in the Ewok movies and I think they were just scared of humans at first and were going to burn them to death 'cause they didn't know who or what they were and thought they were there to cause harm but when they realised Princess Leia was okay they were nice to her and they were also nice to everybody else too.
Thanks for letting me know about Darth Maul and the TV Show but I am curious how canon the other stories are outside of the main live action movies 'cause it is not often a movie series acknowledges things that happen in other adaptions outside of the movies and if the new 'Afterlife' movie acknowledges the vents of the video game which was essentially 'Ghostbusters 3' I think they would be the first to do that but it is being said the movie is going to take off the video game and be partly based on the 'Ghostbusters: Hellbent' script which was the script they used for the video game with Ivo Shandor as the villain but with 'Star Wars' I am not sure. It just seems like a very wasted opportunity to me not to bring a character as popular as Darth Maul back to live action and have him face Obi Wan again since he killed Qui-Gon Jinn who I think was not just Obi's Master but his best friend. I hope we get Liam back as a ghost but the actor has noticeably aged as I said and it would look strange a ghost aged.
I would like to see Obi Wan face Darth Vader and I think it could be done if they made it that he came close to beating him but Darth just beat him and Obi escaped and went back to Tatooine to get ready for Luke. I feel them facing them off again was the biggest thing that never made sense since Obi Wan could have beaten him and put him in that suit and I read the other day Obi Wan was meant to be the most powerful Jedi in the movies and looking back I think that could be right. He beat Anakin Skywalker when he was younger and let him live whereas Luke could never really beat him. He lost his hand facing him in 'The Empire Strikes Back' and it was only he turned him back to the good side Darth Vader took the Palpatine by surprise and threw him to his death but if Luke hadn't been able to turn him back and Darth hadn't taken Papaltine by surprise would they have beat the Empire? Rey has been shown to be very powerful but her opponent was never that powerful or scary looking like Darth Vader or the Emperor. Heck. I would kick Kylo downstairs and wouldn't be scared of him.

Rey has been shown to be very powerful but her opponent was never that powerful or scary looking like Darth Vader or the Emperor. Heck. I would kick Kylo downstairs and wouldn't be scared of him. According to their official mandate all of SW content produced now with a handful of exceptions are canon, the events of Clone Wars, Rebels, Resistance, The Mandalorian, most of the comics, novels and stories of the latest video games are all "canon" whether this lasts or not is up in the air, but things from the shows have become movie canon such as Hera and Chopper and the Ghost from Rebels and they retconned Rex into RotJ.
Now if they decided to remake the final confrontation with Maul in a Obi-Wan movie I would be all for that, we see how Maul gets there but not really Obi-Wan so seeing his journey to that final meeting could be cool, but they would need to re-enact the scene perfectly to keep it all canon with Rebels, and I dunno if you have seen their final meeting but it's sort of anti-climatic in a way, I love it because it shows how fruitless Maul's quest to find Kenobi was and how despite his isolation Obi-Wan has grown by leaps and bounds in the last 20 years, also has a nice moment where Obi-Wan shifts between his younger fighting stance into his older fighting stance, showing the evolution of his style which I like.
I do not know if Obi-Wan is the most powerful Jedi when you think how unimpressive his force skills are compared to others in terms of great feats, but I think ultimately he was one of the wisest of the Jedi, and one of the most skilled warriors among them, sadly beating Vader in ROTS I don't see as a + for Obi-Wan considering how he did win but a triple - for Vader being a putz, I mean shit what a stupid end for that fight, but you know only a handful of Jedi survived the purge and it wasn't like Obi-Wan did so by being in a safe location when it began, so doing so shows a level of great skill also.
Giving a Ewok a lightsabre...ARE YOU MAD WOMAN!?!? those things think C3PO is a god, a giant golden dildo for Christ sake, they are also easily swayed, all Kylo would need to do is offer them a few chocolate bars and that furry little death squad would be on his side, I do not trust them.
And do not get me started on Kylo and how not powerful or intimidating he come across, he seems the sort that would start crying at the slightest insult, I would fucking ruin him, if only Rey was a better shit talker she could have beaten him every time without once resorting to violence.
