www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/bills-at-cowboys-final-score-josh-allen-dismantles-dallas-buffalo-stymies-dak-prescott-in-convincing-win/Maybe we've been undervaluing this Bills team through the first 12 weeks of the season. Even after they raced out to an 8-3 start, they weren't considered a legitimate Super Bowl contender -- partly because they're unlikely to steal the division crown away from the Patriots, which will force them to enter the playoffs as a wild card team and thus, spend January away from home; and partly because their quarterback has been considered by many (including me) to be a liability. But maybe they're actually good -- not just because of their defense, but also because of their quarterback. Against the Cowboys in Dallas on Thursday, the Bills made a convincing case. They actually looked like a team capable of winning playoff games -- not just because of their defense, but also because of their quarterback. On Thanksgiving, the Bills went into Dallas and earned a thoroughly dominant 26-15 win. Josh Allen outplayed Dak Prescott. The Bills' defense contained one of the league's best offenses. And after the first quarter, the Bills never looked like they were in danger of losing. That's how much better they were than a now 6-6 Cowboys team that continues to play well below its talent level, which will only lead to more questions about Jason Garrett's job status. But the story is Buffalo -- a team that is suddenly 9-3 with a young quarterback playing the best football of his career and a strong defense. The Bills, from quarterback to defense, might actually be good.

The Eagles beat them - so I don't think we can take them too seriously

They looked awfully good to me yesterday. I knew they had a great defense, but I didn't realize how good their offense was. I was very impressed.

Super Bowl, no. They aren't on a level with Baltimore or that team from Massachusetts. That was an impressive performance yesterday. Granted, against a Cowfuckers team that's imploding. Said it before, McDermott has modified the offense to minimize Allen's weaknesses. Still, this is a team that could get a shellacking next weekend and unravel. Just reading that the Bills might have the most cap room for next season. Future's so bright I gotta wear shades.

They are in the AFC East so they knew they were going to have 6 easy games, which has allowed them to play their other games with no pressure, thus allowing them to win their other games.
It makes sense if you don't think about it.

Yeah, they had a gimme schedule. Cincy, Giants, Deadskins, two against the Jets and Fishies. No doubt they wouldn't be 9-3 against another schedule. But the team is on the right road for the first time since the SB days.
I keep thinking back to the 2016 Raiders. 12-4, great players at key positions, everything looked to a Super Bowl in 2017. But things went to Hell for no apparent reason

Yeah, six easy games because they play in the AFC lEast, the worst division in football. It's a cakewalk, and the Bills get to sleepwalk all the way to the playoffs.

Comes to 4 in my math
And the NFC East is much weaker

movielikerCan you help me explain to this guy why the AFC East is the weakest and an AFC East team gets 6 easy games in their own division every year, this making it easier for them to beat other teams?

They don't get 6 easy games ever year. Sometimes the Jets or Dolphins, or Bills are good. This year the Bills are good.

We play six divisional games a year. Two against the Jets, two against the patriots and two against the Dolphins. Six. Is New England an easy game?
Feel like I'm talking to the wall. "Hi Wall, how are doing today?"

I never said "every team" in the AFC East gets six easy games every year. I said the Patriots --- more often than not --- get six easy games every year.

It is. Nobody ever accused the Bills of having six easy games a year. Only the Patriots.

I like it - - it's like Ohio State fans saying "the team up north" for Michigan. I root for the Bills. I hate how people completely ripped Josh Allen with glee when he was coming out of Wyoming. His accuracy has improved greatly this year.

He refused to stop until he crossed he border, now wanting to pay tax to enrich Michigan.

Well it's a good thing neither the Bills or the Patriots have to contend with the 5-6 Panthers, 4-7 Bucs, or the 3-9 Falcons. WOULDN'T WANT THEM TO BE TESTED BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS!!!
