I don't know if anyone remembers this guy. If he was East Coast or just NY/NJ. We loved him, my Dad wanted to torture him to death of the course of weeks. He hated Crazy Eddie. proves how polarizing ads can be. I never got the fascination for "Where' the Beef" and I got violently sick every time I hears "Whazzzup". His prices were innnnnn-sane! Oh yeah, I remember that guy. In the same vein as the "Nobody beats The Wiz".

I always liked the Crazy Eddie "Christmas in August" ads. Back then, a guy wearing a Santa hat in the summer was crazy. Nowadays, it's the norm for the Hallmark channel.

Hilarious ad shows the next chapter for the Peleton wife.
As an aside, we had some friends over this past weekend and discussed the Peleton fiasco. One of them was unfamiliar with the whole story, so I explained the creepy original ad and how it's been spoofed a bunch of times already. I eventually showed her the original Peleton wife ad for context and she said, "Ok now I want to see the original." She thought the original ad was the spoof. That pretty much says it all.

I thought the redband trailer for "Rambo" was a spoof. It wasn't, much to my delight! Seriously, just watch this thing! The music, the cartoonish gore, Sly's unintelligible grunting, it might be the best short film ever made.

The new Heineken commercial where the guy burns the dinner and they order the burgers and the Chinese father toasts the guy who burned the dinner who I'm assuming is the husband of the Chinese chick.
'Accidents will happen' is playing in the background.
This isn't it - but a similar one. Maybe it's the song - I feel like launching a beer bottle at the TV
** Edit - This is it! You have to fast forward to 14 seconds - seems like every sporting show I watch they're playing it nonstop.

Let's not forget this classic: I assume she was killed - - or at least had to join witness protection.

I didn't realize it was that crazy violent though. I didn't know it was machine-guns-cut-people-in-half-with-just-two-bullets, and ripping-out-throats-with-bare-hands violent. Might have to watch that now.

How does that new commercial look like a warped VHS with a desperate need for a tracking dial?

Let's not forget this classic: I had until now.
I really wanted to smash that kids face into the ground.
Funny thing is, I thought I was the only one who poke fun at the Peloton ad. The ad was playing, my better half was in the room and I asked "How about if I surprised you with an exercise bike?" I hadn't read anything about the ad.

We've inducted a new member into the dumbass commercial HOF:
What were they going for here? "Come to Progressive, where the employees are no help at all."

You've all seen it if you have watched a US sporting event in the last couple weeks. The guy buys his wife a Peloton exercise bike for Christmas and she rides it all year. So why is it stupid?
What man, it their right mind, buys his better half an exercise bike as a gift? I can see it now
"Merry Christmas dear. It's an exercise bike!!"
after a long pause
"Just what are you trying to tell me. Dear...."
Plus the girl is already in great shape and at the end of her "year" looks exactly the same. This company took a lot of flack for this shit commercial.

The absolute worst commercial in history, and there is no debate: Kars for Kids.
I'd burn my car before I'd give it to them because of these commercials.

The Emu ads for insurance are beginning to infuriate me. As funny as crib death.

If Chevy started having great commercials I will still never ever buy their product simply for the insulting "these are not actors" (but they are) who are amazed at a car that can go on without horses pulling it and won an award no one's ever heard of.
"Wow! This thing is amazing. I just happen to be in the market for a car, I'm so glad I was pulled into this to see this amazing car. What's it called again? Chev-vee? I will remember that!"
Now it's even worse where they have "real employees" (who are actually actors) talking about their cars. When you think they can't insult any more than they have, they do. They assume everyone is an idiot.
I hope they go under.

Add these ads for “slow-mo selfies” to the list.
To think that humanity has come to the point where we’re not only inventing these asinine, pointless features, but actively selling it as a reason to buy an iPhone.

Ok.
I'm going to get tarred and feathered for this - but most people here know I'm a big softie and cry over sports movies - I have a heart - and love animals.
That being said - you can't tell me you don't go racing for your remote when these kids are on -
ok. i'll see myself out.
