Sometimes there's nothing sweeter than snacking on your favourite seeds and nuts, and it's good for you.
My favourites (pretty predictable really)
1. Almonds 2. Hazlenuts 3. Peanuts (salted) 4. Cashews (roasted, salted) 5. Pistachios
Honourable Mention : Chestnuts
Totally Ghastly Nut : The Brazil

For snacking I do love salted cashew nuts the most. Followed by roasted peanuts in shell. Sometimes I also love vinegar & salt flavour peanuts. I have never tried Brazil nuts. It is not available where I live.
In ice creams I like almonds and in desserts I like Pistachio.

I plumped for:
Peanuts
Love these every which way you can think of, roasted, dry-roasted, plain old salted, covered in a dusty chilli coating, covered in chocolate, peanut butter... of course, technically, peanuts aren't really nuts, they're legumes but I still think they deserve to be on this list.
Pistachios
I could quite easily end up devouring truck loads of the little green beauties. I find it ridiculously rewarding just sitting and opening them out of their shells before lobbing them in my mouth - makes me feel like I've earned them.
Brazil Nuts (sorry, staggsy!)
I eat a few of these most days for the selenium. I've also enjoyed them in the past covered in dark chocolate in certain boxes of choc selections. They are not to be over-consumed mind you, that can be pretty toxic, apparently!
Cashews
I love these either in their natural state or roasted and salted. I've also tried ones basted with Marmite which were very pleasant indeed. It's probably a blessing that they're pricey because I cannot resist a bag of the tasty treasures.
Walnuts
I'm too lazy to sit and crack these open so I buy bags of ready extracted walnuts.
I've always found it fascinating that they are extremely good for brain health because, well, they look just like little brains. It's almost like Mother Nature giving us a clue there, haha. This also seems to work for other foods that look like parts of the body by the way - a sliced carrot (eyes), sweet potatoes (pancreas), kidney beans (kidneys, duh), and my favourite, red wine (blood).
I do also like Almonds and Hazelnuts but mostly embedded in chocolate. Pecans are lovely on sweet tarts and pies.
Years back I used to eat a lot of Sunflower and Pumpkin seeds but haven't had the wherewithal lately. I do like to sprinkle some ground Flaxseed in my morning bowl of porridge (that and a very ripe banana, sliced, is perfect).

Pecans Almonds Peanuts (dry roasted) Sunflower Seeds (I would rate the flavor first, but being labor-intensive drops them to 4th place.)

Cashews are nonpareil, nothing better. Smoked almonds are delicious as well.
I prefer peanuts to be in butter form. Peanut butter is one of the greatest foods ever invented.
Pecans have a natural sweetness and are best eaten raw. Walnuts do better when cooked in a stir fry. Pine nuts are great in a stuffing for chicken or such.
I do not like sunflower seeds for the mere fact that I've seen so many fools eat them and spit the shells everywhere. Nasty.

Pistachios Cashews Almonds Peanuts
But in general cheery flavour and marzipan turns me into the "Kubiak"-mode...and marzipan is made hugely of almonds.
Unbelievable that this is the best Kubiak clip I could find:
