Not Paying Attention ; that's got to be the all around highest risk drivers. I think people driving while on their cell phones, especially texting, would be the biggest all around offense since their attention on the road drops off a cliff and greatly increases there chances of a accident, especially texting as people are just plain stupid to do that while driving because it takes up too much of your brain power/attention which naturally kills your focus on the road. because at least while talking, while I think it's still a bad idea(especially if your going to be on the phone for several minutes or more), at least your attention is at least somewhat on the road (or another thing to consider with talking on cell phones while driving is how much traffic your around as the more traffic the more you need to be at peak focus as if there is minimal traffic, then talking on a cell phone while driving is probably not too big of a deal). plus, I have a feeling some people overestimate their ability to focus on the road while they are talking on a cell phone as it's likely worse than they think it is. because personally I can just tell it would be a bad idea for me to drive while talking on a cell phone. so I just don't do it (I guess maybe a exception once in a while would be okay if it's a emergency or something but chances are most of that stuff could wait or have the passenger do the talking on the phone while the driver does what they are supposed to do which is focus on the road). but that aside... I think people driving too slow or if they tailgate me (especially if they could pass you but do not) would be the things I find the most annoying in general. because the way I see it, whatever the posted speed limit is people should generally stay in the ball park of that either way as this helps with traffic flow and is a good balance of not going too slow or too fast as if people tailgate your here a lot, they are likely aggressive drivers. but I suspect that's usually the case with younger people as I can tell I became more calm once I got a little bit of age on me vs when your say 20-25 or so you tend to be a bit more high-strung and are a bit more aggressive. but then again I read somewhere that people are likely to take more risks in general prior to about the age of 25 as something in their head is not fully developed yet etc. I guess if someones driving a little too slow on a random road with not much traffic it's not much of a issue as the person could be easily passed but if there is pretty much one lane and they drive slow it's likely going to piss off a fair amount of people. or sometimes you will say those dual lane roads where two people will be pretty much side by side (or close enough to each other) that prevents others from passing and it's obvious they are holding up traffic as the least they could do is move into the other lane so others can pass etc. I guess if someone blinds you with their bright headlights can get a bit annoying but it's mainly a issue if someone is following you too close with their brights on since it's gets a bit annoying with their lights hitting your eyes from your rearview mirror. because when someone is coming at you in the other lane, you tend to pass by them soon enough, so as long as too many people don't do this, it's usually not a issue. another thing... some people are a little slow in the head when driving, like in the sense when the roads are so-so in bad whether (like say icy roads and the like) they drive a bit more reckless and don't really slow down much etc. it's like they can't even sense they are noticeably raising their risk of a accident. or those types of people who have 4 wheel drive thinking they are immune to getting into a accident with it. because instead of driving a bit more cautiously, like would be normal 4 wheel drive or not, they seem to just plow through the snow thinking they are immune to crashing. because while 4 wheel drive noticeably helps, it should be viewed as extra insurance, not a license to go a bit too fast in bad weather. but some people get too upset over petty stuff as those with road rage should probably not be driving as it's almost like the smallest offense they flip out and think the person they are yelling at is the worst person in the world. but I suspect those people with major anger issues tend to be bad people in general. so what can you do

Tailgaters. They are not going to get me to drive faster than the posted speed limit and risk getting a speeding ticket. I've been tailgated by law enforcement as well, though. I suppose I could pull over and allow the vehicle to pass.

Sometimes my customers ask me, "What are you doing?" I answer, "This car is driving right up my ass. I am just wanna let them pass."

The fast lane is for passing, going fast. and left turns only.

For me, the worst is when someone cuts you off to turn on to the main road in front of you, then goes stupid slow, especially when there's no one behind you and they could've just waited one more second for you to zoom by, and turned when it was appropriate, not when it was a sudden stopping (for you) hazard.

I agree. That's stupid. I have seen cars on the highway behind another car in the slow lane wait until a car comes up behind them in the fast lane. As soon as they are close, they change lanes right in front of the fast lane car, and pass the slow lane car at about 1 mile an hour faster than the slow lane car. Forcing the fast lane car to brake and wait. They couldn't let the fast lane car pass first?

That's me approaching in the fast lane going like 80 with no one behind me for a bit which, of course, mandates that their only logical response be Ermagerd, this might be the last chance I'll ever have to pass this car in front of me that's going 62, behind which I've been comfortably traveling for quite some time now.

It happens to me too. I don't think they are doing it out of spite. Just brainlessness. "Duh --- oh yeah --- this car coming up behind me has awoken me from mental retardation. I can pass also. Thinking considerately about not making that car brake and wait is WAAAAY above my mental ability."

Speeders...
It's 15 MPH through the streets of my neighborhood, due to all the children and pets living in it... And to be clear, my neighborhood is "closed off", and there are no THROUGH Streets. It's just residents coming an going, who know that the closely built homes, have mostly families living in them...
However, many of our residents insist on putting "pedal to the metal" and will frequently travel at 30 MPH or faster, coming and going...
I know 15 MPH seems slow, but, with all the children and pets around, I just don't understand, what people believe to be so urgently important in their lives, that they would risk being forever labelled as "Kid Killers" by their neighbors, just to save less than ONE MINUTE of travel time.
I haven't witnessed it, but I have heard that there have been some children hit by cars in the past... But I've seen a dead kitten, and a dead squirrel in the street.
Going 15 MPH and hitting squirrels? I don't think so.

My biggest pet peeve are people who pull out in front of you to the point of cutting you off even though there's no one behind you then make an immediate turn as if the building or street is going to disappear. I get this when I'm driving my RV a lot. One of these days I'm not going to be able to stop and it's going to be bad news for whoever I hit. As for tailgaiters, I either slow down more or if they're really close, I'll lock up my breaks and laugh when they have to swerve to avoid hitting me.

Can't tell you how many times I've ended up stuck when I could have U-turned if only the cunt I was waiting for to pass had indicated they were turning into another street and not passing. A type of signal, perhaps.

All of the above. Add to that people who slow down to a crawl to drive over a speed hump.

Another pet peeve of mine: Bumper hangers. These are the people who drive up on you on a multi lane highway and instead of passing you, they sit just outside of your left rear bumper making it impossible for you to pass any slow traffic that's in your lane.

Treating stop signs as yield signs. That's been my biggest & worst observation of the century. Whenever I come to a full stop, I seem to get treated like I've just burned their house down. Good game everyone.
General consideration - which encompasses all. Honestly, I've not a specific peeve. I guess ppl driving too slow is a big one - they've no idea how much more dangerous they are to everyone & themselves. I'm 'guilty' of driving 10 over the limit when I can in a right hand lane, because fcuk the NASCAR cattle over in the left. Selfishness is probably the key - ppl need to stop driving like we're all inanimate cgi imaginations safe from chaos. The me-me-me-me-me-me-me attitude at the wheel is the worst... & it's mostly not even the malicious stuff - like f'n stop at an all way stop so 'other' 'people' can get their right of way.
Signals - Stop signalling what you are doing, & start f'n signalling what you are about to do. Signal, it's literally the word by definition.
