The Haunting remake is pretty boring, both Transformers: the Last Knight and Legend of Zorro is kind of a guilty pleasure for me, Men in Black: International I can understand. Its not a remake as i wrote its an new adaption of the book I would bet money that the reason they made a new adaptation of the novel is only because the original movie is famous. That makes the remake label acceptable to me.

I have seen worse movies. I just looked on IMDB on the trivia for the Haunting (1999) and appartnely the 1999 movie is not a remake of the 1963 movie but a new it is a new adaptation of Shirley Jackson's novel, i am sure plenty of people knew this but i just found out so i am writing it down here. Tiny hint that is bullshit: the Shirley Jackson novel is not called "The Haunting". The cherry on top. Thanks for the info.

According to IMDb he is uncredited on 17 things including Cape Fear Shrek is the last movie he is uncredited. It would have been cool to see Spielberg's name on the credits of the Cape Fear remake. His Amblin company produced it, and Spielberg had yet to venture into R-rated territory, if my memory is correct. Spielberg has done a few R rated movies although his last one was probably Munich. Others off the top of my head are Schindler’s List Amistad Saving Private Ryan |
