The idiot above who went on a tirade about slavery and blacks celebrating their heritage, he does realize that slaves who were brought to the new world were from western Africa and that the word Kwanzaa is a Swahili/South African term? Truth is, Kwanzaa was made up by a black separatist while he was in prison. Also, as I said, in all my years(Kwanzaa was created in the 60's) and I've never seen anyone celebrate it. Not to mention that the creator was a staunch racist and the holiday itself was born out of his racism. But don't criticize it.
