Grown Ups 2 is worse than Jack & Jill imo.
Of course he is speaking in jest. He is aware that the critics already hate his comedies.

I'll see your Jack And Jill and Grownups 2, and raise you a That's My Boy.
I actually do like Adam Sandler, but he has already shown us he can make a real crappy movie.

Isn't his performance in Uncut Gens just him doing a John Turturro impression? Am I the only one who sees this?
And based on his attempts at good movies, his attempt at a bad one might end up a masterpiece.

I think he is joking about his status as an actor and the movies he produces. I'd actually be curious to see a deliberately awful movie from him, considering I already think his movies are deliberately awful. I worse movie than Grown Ups 2 would be quite an achievement.

I don't see this as a bad thing.

Well if he does that, then it would at least be intentional.

Then that would just be John Turturro acting like John Turturro. There is nothing interesting about that. The directors might have cast him without an audition. The style of his performance might have come after. Or maybe they did want John Turturro and he was unavailable and then he suggested Adam Sandler. That would actually make sense since they seem to be friends.

I wouldn't take his threat lightly, he's had years of experience.

So ridiculous and idiotic that it is mildly amusing and Al Pacino is funny in it. It at least has something mildly resembling a story. It also has the added benefit of not having Kevin James it it.

Obviously, but that doesn't meant I am interested in seeing that anymore. It is probably because I have never been a big fan of him as an actor. I like him quite a bit in a few of his earlier movies, but that is about it.

I'd much rather see him in this than Transformers 8, and I'd much rather him get the praise he deserves than Sandler walk in copying him and get an Oscar nomination for it when Turturro has never even been nominated.

Oh, I agree with the Oscar comment. The thing is that Adam Sandler is the actor who got the part. If I think he is terrific in it, then he will get my praise. I edited my other reply btw.
