All he was doing was just pointing out an observational fact.
And who knows?
Maybe the Ravens coaches already know this and use it to their advantage when playing.
If they didn't then they just got an idea.

On the record...I get that anytime you point out anything to do with race you have to walk on eggshells.
Off the record...I don’t really see any problem with pointing out a persons natural advantage in the game.
Back on the record...Lamar Jackson is not the color of a football. It’s still pretty easy to tell his hand from the ball.

I always thought that white pitchers had this advantage in baseball when a ball is being released from the hands and the pitch is being 'unmasked' so to speak from the glove - i.e. the batter cannot read the ball that well because whitey is 'masking' it so to speak with his vanilla digits.

All in all, it's a minor suspension and nobody will remember it in a couple of weeks.
But to say 'Can't we go back to the 1950s' is equally stupid.

He shouldn’t have been suspended, there was nothing bigoted about what he said, that being said, he should’ve known that saying anything race related like that would cause backlash, because people get inflamed over any comment about race.
