TCM showing it tonight. Not the 1939 Olivier opus but a 1958 TV version starring Richard Burton as Heathcliff. Yvonne Furneaux as Cathy and John Colicos as Hinchley. Was originally shown s the Dupont Show of the Month. Has TCM ever shown a TV movie, which this is? Complete with a Dupont ad at the beginning, showing how Dupont's rubber doesn't break (God, I hate when the rubber breaks).

Not that I recall. Was it any good? I hated the book.

Not that I recall. Was it any good? I hated the book. The film quality was poor but it wasn't bad. Richard Burton made a very good Heathcliff
